Affiliate Marketing - 3 Necessary Tools For The High Rolling Affiliate Marketer

by Pino Tedesco

What does it take to become a successful Affiliate Marketer?

What are the ingredients of an affiliate marketing success story?

Is there a shortcut to Affiliate Marketing glory?

All these questions play around in the minds of affiliate marketers who want to make it big in this business.

Although affiliate marketing is touted as one of the easiest and most effective ways to earn money online, it is not as easy as it sounds. The wise affiliate marketer plans every action and executes it the best way he can.

He should also maximize the potential to earn by utilizing the right tools necessary for a successful Affiliate Marketing business.

We have consulted some of the most successful affiliate marketers in the business and below are the top three necessary tools for a successful affiliate marketing business.

Important Tool #1: Your Own Website

The most important and indispensable tool in Affiliate Marketing is your own website. The first step in any successful affiliate marketing business is building a good, credible and professional looking website.

Your website is the jump off point of all your marketing efforts. Thus, you must first build a user-friendly website, which will appeal to your prospects and encourage them to click on the links to the products and service you are promoting and make a purchase.

Therefore, you must first concentrate your efforts in building a website that will cater to what your prospects need.

The most important thing you should consider is that almost all web users go online to look for information, not necessarily to go and buy something. Above all else, make your website full of original, relevant and useful content. People will love articles that are appealing and helpful.

Keep in mind that, in the internet, content is still king and good quality content will not only build your credibility, it can also help you achieve a higher search engine ranking.

By posting relevant and useful articles, you establish yourself as a credible expert in the field, making you a more trustworthy endorser of the product or service you promote. Establishing a good reputation is a good step in building up a loyal consumer base.

Important Tool #2: Incentives

Competition is extremely tight in the internet world. You must always be one-step ahead of your rivals to ensure that you capture a significant share of your target market.

Therefore, you must use every possible means to encourage people not only to visit your site but also to click and proceed to the websites of the products and services you are promoting. Building an opt-in email list is one of the best ways to gather prospects.

Offer a newsletter or an e-zine. Better yet, offer incentives to your prospects to encourage them to subscribe to your newsletters. You can present free softwares, access to exclusive services and other freebies that will be helpful to your prospects.

Important Tool #3: Link Popularity

The importance of driving highly targeted traffic to your website cannot be emphasized enough. The all-important web traffic is at the top of the list of the most important entities in the internet world.

Attracting people to your site should be the first step you should carry out. Do everything to achieve a high search engine ranking.

Link Popularity is one of the factors that search engines use to determine search engine rankings. Therefore, to enhance your link popularity, you must launch an aggressive reciprocal link campaign.

One of the best ways to do this at no cost at all is by submitting articles, with your website's link at the resource box, to e-zines and free article sites. You will not only gain exposure, you will also have the opportunity to advertise for free, just include a link back to your site.

The more sites you submit your articles to, the better your link popularity is. Make your articles original, relevant and useful so that more websites will pick it up and post it.

These are but three of the many tools that an affiliate marketer can use to maximize earning potential. The possibilities are endless and are limited only by your imagination, creativity, resourcefulness and determination.

You can always explore other ideas and adapt other strategies, which you think might help you become a high rolling affiliate marketer.

Affiliate Marketing - 5 Things You Must Have To Succeed In Affiliate Marketing

by Pino Tedesco

The idea of being mere passengers on a ship meant to sail to the farthest points does not appeal to people who like to put their destiny into their own hands.

They have the desire of maneuvering the ships themselves, of being able to be the ones to take it anywhere they want to.

Being aboard a ship on its way to a particularly great destination is something each and every one of them dreams of, and the knowledge that they have the capacity to steer it themselves is what makes them actually want to.

Perhaps this is the reason why more and more people are succumbing to one of the most popular businesses around internet affiliate marketing. It is because in this business, there are no bosses to order the employees around.

There are no deadlines to meet and no clutter of work do to. One only needs to be equipped with the tools needed to succeed in a business such as this, and he is bound to get what his heart ultimately desires.

Just what are the things needed to be able to succeed in affiliate marketing? What must one have within himself to be able to do well in this industry?

There is a lot of competition involved in affiliate marketing, and to be able to rise above the norm, one must be equipped with just the right stuff necessary to propel him forward.

There are five things one must ultimately possess if he wants to achieve the glory he is yearning for in this business, and these five things are a must for him to possess to be able to stand out among the rest.

The very first quality one must possess if he wants to try his hand in affiliate marketing is the willingness to learn and be trained. Treading through unfamiliar territory is scary stuff if one is not properly equipped, and he might get lost amidst a jungle of the unknown.

Learning the tricks of the trade is also an important aspect of the game, and one's willingness to know it all will give him far better advantages in the business than he could ever imagine.

The second quality one must possess is the willingness to invest time and effort even if direct results do not seem at all apparent.

Although several months may pass without good news, it is important for one who has his foot in the industry to hold on and wait. It is this quality which would save him from giving up after investing a lot of himself in the business.

The third quality one must possess is self-determination. If one wants to conquer the affiliate marketing world, he must have the ability to push himself ahead.

Never having to say die is a quality each and every affiliate marketer should possess, and the ability to motivate oneself into scaling greater heights is an ability which would actually take an affiliate marketer there.

The fourth quality one must possess is discipline. If one knows how to teach himself to work everyday with all the energy he can muster, then he is close to achieving what he has set his heart to having in the first place.

The fifth and last quality one must possess is optimism. Negative attitudes and hearsays should not discourage an affiliate marketer from pursuing what he has to in order to make life better for himself and for everyone concerned.

Neither should anyone influence his attitude toward the business, because once in it, it is a must for him to be the captain of his ship and the master of his soul.

The ingredients to success in a business such as affiliate marketing are diverse and manifold, but the most important thing one needs to be able to make it big lies in himself alone.

It is he who has the capacity to do everything to be able to realize his prospects, and the desire which fuels his heart in doing so is the gasoline which should keep the engine going.

Affiliate marketing is all about putting one's fate into his own hands. The right attitude is the key to being able to steer one's ship into that part of the ocean where a certain kind of serenity can be found, one that permeates the atmosphere as the ship sails calmly on.

Go With the Flow Of The Ever-Changing Market

by Carol Palmatier

Is your company ready to pounce on trends and shifts in your industry? When you spot those trends, will you be poised to make new connections with customers?

With article marketing, you can quickly take advantage of changing market trends by simply adjusting the type of article you are writing.

Adjusting to Changing Interests
Your company's marketing focus can often take unexpected twists and turns. This is often the result of new interest from a segment of the market that you don't currently reach. When a product that was originally intended for one audience becomes a must-have idea to another, you've hit upon a unique marketing moment.

This natural, organic expansion of your customer base is truly a significant market opportunity.

This type of scenario often takes place with a major societal or environmental change. A service that was once used by a few suddenly becomes necessary for many. For instance, after a major flood, homeowners in other regions are suddenly more interested in purchasing flood insurance. An on-the-ball insurance company will be ready to answer their questions and concerns with well-written, informative articles on where and how to qualify for flood insurance programs.

Demand also shifts because of popular trends. Those wingtip shoes that are a staple for the executive set suddenly become cool for teenage girls after a major pop star is spotted wearing them on the red carpet. The savvy shoe company will adjust its marketing campaign and find ways to appeal to the younger generation.

The Adaptive Marketing Plan
The beauty of article marketing, unlike traditional television and print advertising, is that marketing plans can be adjusted almost immediately. It's as simple as writing a new article. And with an unlimited subscription to an article distribution service such as Article Marketer, there is no additional cost. Let me repeat that -- no additional cost to target an entirely new market niche.

By going with the ebb and flow of the market, a company is in a better position to take advantage of these unexpected marketing opportunities. This point is critical to making your company an effective trend marketing machine. Spot a trend, write an article, and capture that moment of perfect relevance.

This kind of "on the fly" marketing can fit in beautifully with your current article marketing plans. Experts recommend submitting two articles per category per week for maximum impact and greatest exposure. Keep a close ear to the heartbeat of popular trends in your particular industry, and be able to spot trends and identify potential changes at a moment's notice.

If you see a new niche for your company, begin a new article marketing campaign. This plan may be used alongside or in place of your current plan, depending on the circumstances. Ideally, double your article writing efforts to cater to both groups!

Always keep an open mind when it comes to your article marketing plan. The free market can be erratic and full of surprises. This is what makes owning a business so exciting! And, it's what makes article marketing such an effective, and affordable, way to keep on top of the market.

Becoming an Affiliate - Making Money With Article Directories

by Pino Tedesco

If you can either write articles or have the promotion and marketing knowledge to publicize articles that others write, becoming an affiliate for several companies may be a great way for you to generate a good income right from your own home.

You can do this by receiving part of the revenue off of sales that the company gets from people who "click through" from your website via the company's links that are placed on your pages.

Since you will be promoting a product or service, you will need a killer sales pitch and website content to get your readers interested in the product, convince them that they cannot live without the product, and to keep them coming back to your website time and time again for more recommendations and your useful content, which will get them clicking on your links once again.

Although many affiliate companies only give you money off of the first sale you make from each customer, you have the option of promoting a good range of companies so that you can still make a profit off of your returning customers.

If you cannot write this kind of content of your own, there are many ways to pick up free or paid content to place on your affiliate website. There are many reasons why paying for such articles would be to your advantage.

First, you will be able to tell the writer exactly what you want, what product you are trying to sell, and what direction they can go in to keep your readers interested and informed.

On the other hand, when you search for free content, you are limited to what is already out there. Secondly, you will own the copyright to this content. That means that no one else can reuse it without your consent.

If you opt for free content, you will be sharing that content with an unknown amount of other affiliate websites, plus the original author will be able to place their byline at the bottom of the article which could result in them stealing your traffic.

There are many products that have nice affiliate commission rates for those who know how to pre-sale their product and deliver click through customers who are ready to buy.

As long as you choose to promote a product or service that can be very useful to a wide variety of people, then pre-selling your chosen company may not be that hard at all.

The key in this situation may likely be getting those customers to your website so that they have a chance to see your recommendations and click on your affiliate links.

How Anyone Can Succeed With Article Marketing

by Johnny Albertson

Having a day job is a real drag, don't you agree? I know I'd rather sleep in, work from home for four or five hours and then go out and play my blues guitar until the wee hours!

I might have stumbled across the opportunity I've been waiting for. I'm actually already on my way making it happen, just by writing articles like this one. The idea is simple and brilliant. It's the wave of the future and everybody's talking about it. It's called article marketing.

If you have a website (I have a bog), all you have to do is start writing about your business. Then, once you've written a couple of articles that someone will want to read (this is important), you distribute them to content sites that will publish your articles, such as e-zines, content sites and newsletter publishers. They provide your articles for other people to grab and use on their sites for free. There is money in it for you -- don't worry!

Here's where the magic happens. You write an "about the author" box, sometimes called a resource box, that you attach to the bottom of each article. This is where you put your link. When people online start to publish your insightful, informative or just plain funny writing on their websites, they are also publishing a link back to you!

What does this accomplish, you ask? Well, think about it this way. Your standing on search engines like Yahoo! and Google are dependent upon the number of links that exist back to your website. When I started, I didn't even show up in a Google search when I looked for my name in quotes! Nobody else is going to find me if I can't even find myself.

Now that sounds almost like existential philosophy, my friends. I'm using that gem again!

Anyway, after writing only two articles, I'm beginning to get a trickle of hits on my blog every week. People are finding me! At first, it's the small victories that really make me smile. Admittedly it's not much -- not yet -- but like any new business endeavor, article marketing requires a little effort and patience before it starts to work overtime for you.

Do you have a website? That's the first and most important step. Without one, article marketing won't do much for your page rank -- or any rank at all! It's easy to set up a free blog using Blogger or any number of other free programs out there. I'm no techie and I didn't have to use any code, so don't be scared.

Next, can you write about your business? Maybe you sell wacky shoes online. You can write about a customer you had who sent back her pair six times because they were the wrong size. You can write about working with distributors. You can even give people advice about how to start their online shoe business. Anything you can think of, as long as it's well-written, around 750 words or so and keeps the reader interested until they get to your resource box that holds your link.

Believe it or not, it's not that hard to do. I've set a goal: I will write two articles a day until I start to see some real hits (and maybe even show up on a search engine or two!!) and generate a steady stream of traffic.

Article marketing is a proven system that works if you put in just a little time. I find that writing an article takes me about an hour, and that's with several read-throughs because I'm a perfectionist. Realistically, you can write between 500 and 750 words in 30 minutes if you just write about a topic you know.

Since I'm learning about article marketing, I'm writing about that. But the possibilities are endless. I've seen articles about hot air balloons, Chinese medicine -- even taking care of exotic pets! Use your imagination.

Is there a topic you've been curious about but never had an impetus to learn? This is the perfect time to inform yourself and then teach others what you know. After all, they say teaching someone is the best form of self-education, right?

In that vein, I hope to have inspired you to start your own online marketing campaign. It's easy and affordable (it's free if you do it yourself!) and you will see a difference almost immediately in increased traffic, improved search engine results positioning and (eventually) sales of your product or service. That's the bottom line.

Free Article Content - Making Money With Articles

by Pino Tedesco

Some webmasters try to use articles from free content directories to get visitors to their site and make some money. This is mostly important for those who have just begun working as an affiliate for several companies and do not yet have any funding, yet need to built small niche websites to visitors to their site so that they can begin making revenue.

Although this can sometimes be the only option for those who are running on a non-existent budget, it is not a way that will effectively build your website or revenue. There are a few potential reasons why this may be detrimental to your business building efforts.

Problem #1 - Search Engines

Search engines will only look down upon your site if it has the exact same duplicated content than other sites. The more sites that share your content, the less it will help you achieve good search engine rankings.

Good search engine rankings are essential in getting visitors to your sit so that they have a chance to click on your affiliate links. If you cannot even get visitors, then will never make an revenue. Working on the search engine optimization of your site so that you will eventually be high enough in the results to get customers, should be priority one.

Problem #2 - Getting visitors to click

Although getting your site high on search engine result pages and acquiring site visitors is hard work, unfortunately this is only half of the battle. You must also be able to convince those visitors to click on your affiliate links. If your visitors see the same content they have seen on a multitude of other sites, they will be least likely to click on your links. This is because most people want to buy things that are recommended by people that they trust or whom they feel like are an expert on the subject.

If your content is just duplicated from other sites, you will be exposed as someone who does not really know what they are talking about and therefore will not look heavily on your product recommendations. This will reduce the number of website visitors who will be willing to click through.

Problem #3 - Author Bylines

Most free content is only given to you if you agree to place the authors byline under the article (you can get into trouble if you try to use it without following the stipulated rules). This poses a problem because most author bylines include links. When a reader gets done reading a really intriguing article, there is a strong possibility that they will click on the author's byline link rather than your affiliate links. This is the entire reason why these authors offer free content to begin with, so that they may get their name and links out there to the public. Using this type of content may mean shooting yourself in the foot and losing possible profitable website visitors.

Once you put these three problems together, you are looking at a serious decline in revenue simply because you used free website content from article directories. Although it may be the only option for some, if you have the funds to buy your own original content, then you should go this route. If you don't have the finds, however, you may be better off writing your own content and then hiring professional services once you have made a profit to work with.

Although having said all this you still need to start somewhere and you will need to have some sort of content on your site. Niche directories are the best place to start as they have less duplicate content in comparison to the larger websites, so start there because a website with some pages is better then no pages.

Article Keywords - Important When Making Money with Articles

by Pino Tedesco

Keyword density and placement are important parts of optimizing your articles for search engines. Search engine spiders scan a page in a way that makes it important to place your keywords where they will be detected and recognized as a keyword, so that your article will come up when someone searches for that keyword.

What is a Keyword?

A keyword is a word that is going to be placed in your article several times, not just once as that would make every word a keyword. When a spider sees that you have a word placed several times in an article, it will determine that your page may be useful to users that search for such a keyword.

Over Optimizing Your Articles

It is important to note that there is also such a thing as over optimizing your articles for particular words, this is known as "keyword stuffing". When you stuff keywords in an article a spider will detect that you are trying to trick it into placing your article high in the search engine results for that word, and will instead penalize your site and your page for doing such. This may even affect the rankings of your other pages or get your site blacklisted from a particular search engine if you are found keyword stuffing too many times.

What is Keyword Density?

Keyword density is how many times your keyword is placed in your article. Most use a percentage to determine how many times they will put a keyword in an article. For instance, if you have a 500 word article and want to achieve a keyword density of 5%, then you will need to have the keyword in your article exactly 25 times. You can find hundreds of resources and guides recommending one keyword density over another and the reasons behind the logic, however, in the end you will have to determine which density is more profitable for your articles. Each webmaster as their own density that they like to achieve based on past results. As long as you don't over optimize and you are making sufficient profit from your rankings, then you can choose whatever keyword density you like.

The Right Density

No matter what exact density you choose, it is important to place keywords so that there are more at the beginning and end to produce an hour glass effect. Having the right keyword density in your article makes it more likely that you will make money off of that article because it will rise in the search engine results and be seen by more people.

Making Money With Free Articles - What Experience Do I Need?

by Pino Tedesco

When you are trying to make money with articles, the beauty of it is that you don't really need previous career related experience and that you can learn the ropes as you go. That being said, there are some skills that you will need to teach yourself or pick up along the way to make your sites successful. You can't go in not knowing anything, not learning anything, and still expect to make a good income (or any income at all).

First, you will need to know how to pick out the correct articles to make your sites successful. There are many types of content, from free content to high dollar content, and each comes with its own advantages and disadvantages (although high dollar content is more likely to give you a successful site in the end).

Second, you will need to know how to choose keywords that can help you get a good amount of traffic, without being too competitive to get on the first or second page. If you choose highly competitive keywords that are used by large, mammoth website, you are likely to never get up to those much needed first two pages.

Third, you will need to know how to optimize your websites for various search engines. Search engine optimization skills will allow you to get high rankings for your chosen niche keywords, which will help to get visitors and make profit.

Fourth, if you opt for a large website that you will focus most of your internet marketing career on, you will also need to know how to market your website to your intended audience through paid banner ads and text links. If you prefer very small 2-5 page niche sites, then promoting all of them this way will not be cost effective and will eat up more profits than it is worth.

If you can capture some of these skills and attack them aggressively during your first few small websites or the first few months of a larger website, then you will eventually become an expert. Since you can learn the ropes first hand on your own, the only thing that you will need to do before you begin your new career is to read up on how to get started (maybe purchase an internet marketing e-book or two) and make sure that you have the funds available to start a small site.

Article Submission Software And Article Marketing

by Pino Tedesco

Article submission is a very long time consuming process as you have to submit manually to thousands of article directories, other people simply don't have the passion or skills for writing. But in both circumstances, website owners still force there inner demon to do some sort of article marketing as every successful website owner uses this effective method in driving targeted website traffic to their sites. This article would share some important tips on how to market articles and article submissions software to avoid the agony involved with article submission.

Submitting articles is a powerful online marketing tool if performed properly. Here is some advice on structuring articles that encourage visitors to come to your website and how article marketing can be a effortless and fun experience using article submission software.

1. Attention Grabbing Article Title

The article title is very important!. Try to be funny, entertaining or controversial, yet not sound up yourself or rude, remember the aim of your article title is to grab attention, not to offend and turn off. Compare "Article Submission Software" to "Article Submission Software - The Secrets Of The Successful". It is obvious which is more eye catching, but more importantly make sure for search engine optimization reasons that you place the key words at the beginning of the title. This is important as search engines such as Google, MSN and Yahoo will rank your article or website content page based on the first few words of the title. Also marketing research shows that only have a few seconds is all a reader has to look at your article before they move onto another article, so choose choose your article title wisely.

2. Informative And Accurate Article Content

Write informative content to establish trust between yourself and your reader. Once you manage capture the readers attention, you have a better chance at setting yourself up as an expert in that particular topics industry. The probability of the article reader then visiting your website increases. The article has to be truthful also, if it is not most readers will glance over the article and recognize it is a sales pitch and move on.

3. Create Suspense Or Urgency

Never reveal all your knowledge or tips in your first article. Shows on television often end each episode with an incomplete scene which i am sure you have been victim to like I have, especially at the end of a season. This is how you can hook the reader to follow the back link at the base of the article to your website. Invite your readers to the end of your article to have aa further read at your website or better yet invite the article reader to a special offer or something free on your website.

4. Don't Just Write, Back Up With Facts.

Always maintain integrity by using fact based article content. Readers are always looking for specific answers to there situations or problems and these answers are sometimes found in statistics and figures. There are a few website's that are ideal for performing research for article marketing. A few examples are Google (to start your research) & Wikipedia. These are great sources of research material.

5. Contract A Ghost Writer

If writing is not your strong point, contract a ghost writer to do so for you, it ca be more affordable then you think. Usually a good article should cost you approximately $5 and above per article the article writer makes up for you. Though $5 articles are rare these days , as prices have gone up, there are some new authors who are eager to take on your article writing assignment to build up their reputation and credibility as writers. FreelancerGlobe.com , Elance and Scriptlance are excellent places to start your search for a writer. FreelancerGlobe.com is a new service and is free, so i would start there.

6. Article Submission Software

Article submission software are tools you should include in your buying list as they are as i see it a must. These article tools take the repetitive tasks out of the equation by placing your articles in various places with little work. This helps your article marketing so that you can focus on writing articles of excellent quality rather then spending hours or days submitting to millions of directories one by one like a monkey. There are many article submission software programs out there that can submit to article directories automatically, so how do you choose which is effective? All you need ideally is a article program that you simply copy and paste your article into and the software sends it off with a single mouse click.

These article marketing pointers have guided alot of website owners to earning great incomes from the comfort of there own homes. With the help of the latest article submission software, they are able to multiply there returns as they are being more productive.

Article Directories - Making Money with Articles

by Pino Tedesco

Article directories are websites that house free articles. These articles are usually put there by whoever owns the copyright to them as a promotion method. Each article has the owners byline placed under it so that those who eventually read the article will know who wrote it (or at least who owns it) and will be able to get in contact with or visit their website for further information.

Even if you cannot write or do not have any knowledge on the subject on which you are promoting (for example for you run an affiliate website), you can always hire a writer to do the work for you. Getting quality articles written will be expensive up front, but they will pay for themselves in no time, either through affiliate sales or selling your own services, and everything from then on is pure profit.

Let's take a real life example. Imagine that you are an accountant working from home. You write an article on an accounting topic and place it on various article directories. Those who are looking for the subject you wrote about will read your article, see that you have the knowledge and skill that is needed to do a job for them, and visit your website or contact you via e-mail. Your article just gained you a new client who may use your services regularly, but will definitely give you a nice profit at least once.

Furthermore, since you have posted it on a free article directory, others who have affiliate websites about accounting will inevitably use your article for their website. Since they must attach your byline to it, this will bring you even more exposure for every website that re-posts your article. This because you will be benefiting of off the traffic that they get to their website.

There are numerous article directories out there for you to utilize. Once you have made a few articles, file them all away and then go looking for article directories to submit your articles to. Your best bet is to put a copy of each of your articles on every one for maximum exposure. It will eventually help to bring more traffic and customers to your website, which will lead to new orders and more profit.

This will also increase traffic to your website and hopefully increase your backlinks as the more articles you submit to article directories the more chances you have of being accepted and therefore having a backlink to your site.

7 Ways to Drive Laser-Targeted Traffic

by joseph holland

An affiliate marketer may have all the things needed for him to be able to succeed in a business such as affiliate marketing. He may have the necessary drive, diligence and perseverance to be able to understand how the system works. He may have all the tools necessary in maintaining the business, including a really unique and interesting website which could earn him a fortune if only the whole world could see it. However, all these would prove useless if he does not know how to drive traffic to his website. His business would sink into oblivion together with all the sales, fortune and dreams that he might have realized if he only knew how to do this particular task.

Getting people who matter to see one's website is a difficult undertaking if he tries to consider the fact that there are rivals everywhere waiting to pin him down. The immensity of the internet as well as the affiliate marketing world has given birth to the fierce competition between affiliate marketers, each of whom has his own great product to offer. With all the websites piling on top of each other, how would one be able to stand out? The seven best ways to drive laser-targeted traffic to one's own website would help those who are bent on sticking it out with this business wherever it is bound to take them.

The first step in driving traffic to one's website is by relying on search engines and what they can do for the affiliate marketer concerned. Because they are popular for driving free targeted traffic, they should not be ignored by all means. Having top search engine rankings is vital in building popularity links, and the use of the right keywords is important in attaining this goal. Once a website is on top of the list, it is easily accessible to anyone who wants to see it for himself.

The second way in driving traffic to one's website is by contacting other webmasters for a possible link exchange partnership. Locating websites that are related to one's own website is the primary task. Once there, he should be able to establish communication by personalizing everything as much as possible. It is then possible to make reciprocal link exchanges between webmasters whichever way the affiliate marketer prefers.

The third way is through writing one's own articles. This is an effective way in promoting a website, because good content that are appreciated by readers will lead them to visit the writer's very own website out of sheer interest.

The fourth way is through joint venture marketing. This is one of the most effective ways of promoting a product or a service. Having a partner through ad swap or link exchange is beneficial to both parties as it allows them to reach a wide customer base in a short amount of time.

The fifth is through joining affiliate programs. Having affiliates to do the work means allowing them to bring tons of traffic to a website. Skyrocketing sales would be realized as a result, and both the affiliate and the website owner will benefit from the situation.

The sixth is by having a list of subscribers that one can refer to every so often, because they are those which would prove to be valuable assets for the marketer concerned. The use of autoresponders and personalized newsletters is one way of keeping track of them all, and holding on to them by letting them know about new products and services is an essential task that should be done by the affiliate marketer concerned.

The seventh is by knowing one's market through and through. It is important for traffic to be targeted to those who might have a special interest in the theme or topic of one's website. This way, a solid customer base is going to be created. Once a potential customer shows an interest in a particular website by paying it a visit, one must not waste time in trying to show him that his effort is worth it.

Traffic generating strategies are important in trying to make one's affiliate marketing career inch forward. It is always advantageous to plan one's moves in any business that he might undertake. This is particularly so in affiliate marketing. If one knows how to get people to see what he has to offer, then he is on the right track.

Where to Advertise Your Small Business Online...Without Paying a Penny!

by Caroline Melberg

From start-up costs to paying employees, entering the world of small business is not an easy journey for your bank account. After all of the hassles of figuring out how to pay for your initial costs of expenses such as office space and supplies, one large question remains. How do you reach potential consumers? Without a large budget to accommodate the overwhelming costs of advertising in print publications, attracting the attention of buyers can be a serious challenge.

However, advertising can be much cheaper than you expect. Any way in which you reach the eyes and ears of an audience is a form of advertising, and you have an audience of millions waiting on the other end of your computer. The cost of reaching them: zero dollars.

As Internet use continues to soar, buying, selling and advertising online do, too. Advertising banners and site space will incur another expense on your small business, but there are many opportunities to avoid these costs while still putting your business' name on the map.

The Internet continues to be the primary outlet for people in search of new friends and acquaintances. Consider the number of host sites that operate on networks of people tied together via a common thread. Facebook.com and Myspace.com, two of the leading sites for this style of networking, offer premier advertising at virtually no cost. As these two URLs become some of the most-visited sites on the Internet, the number of users continues to grow.

Whatever your small business sells or services, you can reach a large number of people via sites just like these. From musicians to small business owners like yourself, these sites can create millions of "friends" that can check out your business. Simply create a profile that includes your business' aims, and work to stir traffic to your online description. One huge advantage of these sites is the use of filters. Whatever your target demographic, you can search for people by age, sex and home in the attempt to reach your primary audience.

Blogging offers invaluable advertising, too. No matter the category of your business, chances are that writers devote daily posts to blogs dedicated to this topic. Search for these posts online, and become a part of this Internet community with responses to posts. Include your thoughts on products, and communicate with other writers to develop electronic dialogue about subjects related to your small business.

Chat rooms and open forums offer much of the same advertising opportunities of blogging. With the chance to post your own thoughts and comments, these outlets are a source of making your small business available to other Internet users.

With so much free advertising space available, you can see the wealth of opportunities for the growth of your small business. As you search for free advertising space, remember that many of these sites include those in search of new friends. Because of this, personal and direct contact is the most effective form of communication that leads to automatic and indirect advertising. Rather than paying the large cost of generic ad space, use these innovative ways to build close relationships with potential customers.

Catering to Your Target Audience

by Jackson Summerford

Conveying a specific message in a written article is no easy feat. Audience expectations fall on every point of the information spectrum. One of the biggest mistakes that article writers make is to try to accommodate too many readers. The more general an article becomes in order to meet the interests of a wide readership, the more focus it loses. This leads to an article that oftentimes appeals to no one at all. A small niche audience is always better than no audience at all.

The first step to writing an effective article is to determine who you are trying to reach. Once you pinpoint your audience, you can cater to their interests and needs. Similarly, in deciding your target audience, you must establish why this specific group of people will be interested in what you are writing about. This may require the writer to research the concerns and values of this group of people.

In deciding the issues that are most pertinent to your audience, be attentive to the best methods of communicating with this group. Choosing the type of language and the general structure of your article can be important choices in the process of effectively reaching customers. In the same way your vocabulary may slightly change from a professional setting to a social environment, you will want to consider whether you should use a more serious or casual tone. While an overtly scholarly vocabulary sounds educated to one group, it sounds pretentious to another. Know the general perceptions of your target audience and you will more easily communicate with them.

Upon determining how to convey your message, you must determine what exactly that message is. Have a clear idea of what you are trying to say before you begin writing. Articles that wander from topic to topic with no precise goal tend to lose the interest of readers before they get past the second paragraph. Make a concise point in the initial paragraphs and use the rest of the article to solidify that point.

Providing examples is one of the most effective ways of backing up your message. These examples can include fabricated anecdotal stories or real life events. Writers will oftentimes use highlighted events in the media with which almost any reader will be familiar. If you do choose to utilize stories from real life events, make sure you consult valid sources for accurate information.

Sometimes such an example can serve as an important cohesive element in your article that helps tie everything together. Establishing a slogan or common thread that is referenced throughout the article makes for a more interesting article. Whether it is a real life example you continue to come back to, or a buzz word that is used in multiple forms throughout the article, a repeated concept will help hold your article together.

Another way in which your article gains credibility is through the process of fact checking and editing. You must avoid spelling and grammatical errors in order to appear educated and knowledgeable. In the same way, you will also want to make sure your facts and figures; you may very well be asked to provide solid evidence to support your message.

Such accountability is dependent on both your audience and the places in which your article is published. Some readers will be more attentive than others. Potential publishers are as important to keep in mind when writing as potential readers. The publishers know their audience; you will want to adjust your writing style to appeal to the publishers you are targeting as well as your end reader.

While it takes time to ponder these various considerations related to the writing process, you will find they will help your article achieve a higher level of success. Write directly to your readers and they will hear you. This is the best way to see your articles gain recognition and respect amongst your target audience.

Writer's Block Putting A Crimp In Your Campaign?

by Nancy Amada

Writer's block --the inability to sit down and start writing --is a tough mountain to climb whenever you face it. And it can be even more difficult if writing is part of your article marketing campaign!

Writer's block is a difficult challenge to conquer because there's no set way to get rid of it. Oh, sure, you can find advice everywhere, and just about any :how to write" website will give you some hints and ideas. The problem is, it's a very abstract, and often personal, problem and each writer has a different way of getting past it.

Based on what I've learned from my own experience, I'm happy to share these ideas to help you buckle down and get back to business.

The first thing to remember is to stay positive. You're not going to get anywhere if you sit at your desk and dwell on the fact that the words just aren't coming. It's very easy to start panicking when the words won't come, and your entire article marketing campaign is in the balance. Trust me, I know! However, keep in mind that good article writing, just like everything else in business, takes a bit of effort and is worth doing right.

Now that you've got your head around your project, make an outline. It's a good idea -- especially if you don't consider yourself a professional writer -- to draft a general outline of what you want to say in your article. For example, if you're writing about finding a target market for your online marketing, you might want to start with three bullet points. One will talk about how to create a solid definition of your product, one about how to pinpoint the general demographic for your product, and finally one about finding keyword descriptions that are attractive to that demographic.

If this doesn't get you moving, and sometimes it won't, start talking to yourself. (It's OK, no one's listening.) Look at your outline and start telling yourself how you would approach item. If you're used to talking to large groups of people, pretend that you're giving a lecture on the topic. If you do better with small bits of info, try jotting words or phrases on post-in notes or index cards, then rearranging them. Soon, those notes and jots will start to flow together into a good solid article that people will want to read.

Another great way to get your thoughts to flow is by writing the facts. You feel that you're qualified enough to write articles about your business; chances are you already know what you want to say. So, start putting your thoughts to paper and just ignore punctuation and flow. The point is to start writing. You'll find that once you get yourself moving, the words will take care of themselves. Then when you're finished, go back through for the cleanup and the final pizzazz.

I've found some great resources that helped me over that writing hump a couple of weeks ago. If you are writing articles for submission to article marketing services, you might want to check these out:

WritersDigest.com always has at least one writing prompt that will help crack writer's block. This web site is designed for writers and includes easy, thought provoking tips. One recent prompt tells stuck writers to write outrageous headlines for 2007. These "no rules" prompts really get the creative juices flowing!

eFuse.com is geared toward creating tight, interesting website content. The site has a variety of helpful hints to get started. One writer talks about starting in the middle of a project rather than at the beginning. This is a great idea for people who can't push through the first sentence.

ArticleMarketer.com has useful articles on just about every aspect of web writing, including writer's block. A recent article gives advice contrary to eFuse and tells the writer to start at the very beginning by writing an inspiring headline! Writing the headline first might get you excited about the project. It might also serve as an article summary to help you stay within your writing parameters.

The great thing about these websites is that every one of them gives different advice. Rather than being confusing, this actually helped me write my articles. Some of the advice worked, some didn't, and I bet it will be different for every article marketer. Reading all the advice, though, helped me understand that writer's block is a real phenomenon, with real solutions. Do a little experimenting and figure out which writer's block trick works the best for you!

So take some tips from the experts and put your thoughts down into information, content-rich articles for submission. You never know who might be by to read them!

Article Writing Methods that Grab Their Attention

by Liane Bate

One of the best ways to promote your business online is to write articles and distribute them to thousands of publishers across the internet. Publishers and website owners are constantly looking for good, original content for their websites, and chances are pretty good that if you've submitted your article to various article directories, that your article will be read and used in someone's newsletter or on their blog. This is a fantastic way to get the links to your website in front of the public's eye, which leads to clicks, which may lead to sales. This is why article writing is so important to your online business.

A good article should have a title that captivates those who see it. There are millions of articles circulating around the internet and posted in article directories, so you want to make sure that your title stands out from the rest and makes a reader want to click on it. The title should cover the main topic of the article, but it's also a good idea to include relevant keywords in the title that you use to promote your website. For example, if you have an article-based website, and one of the keyword phrases you use in your site's meta tags is "writing articles", then you should have the term "writing articles" in your title which will help it get picked up and indexed by the search engines.

I cannot over-state the importance of keywords when writing articles. It's great to sit down and write an article about anything and everything, but if you want your article to be easily found, you want to include good keywords throughout your article. What do I mean by "good keywords"? Good keywords are keywords that people use when they do a Google, or other search engine search to find what they are looking for. For example, "make money online" is a popular keyword phrase that people might type into the Google search box. If this is one of the keywords you are targeting, then it's a good idea to include this in your title and throughout your article.

However, if you want to avoid competition for over-popular terms such as this one, you may want to use a keyword research tool to choose keywords that get 5000-10000+ searches per month. "Money making ideas", for example, is popular, but not so competitive that you can't achieve a higher rank in the search engine listings if you use it in your title and throughout your articles. You can go even more specific than that and find lesser searched terms that you will have little competition for.

The introductory paragraph should include your chosen keywords at least once. Remember that you don't want to clutter up your article with your keywords just to get noticed by the search engines because those search engines will know what you're up to and it may backfire on you with the opposite results of what you expected. You don't want to get penalized for trying to get noticed! The main body of your articles should also have your keywords scattered throughout, and your concluding paragraph should again state your keywords once.

Article writing is not only about keywords. It's a great idea to write in a style that comes naturally to you, as if you were almost talking or telling your own story, in your own way. This is what really separates original articles from the rest. An easily flowing, conversational style of writing is best, which shows your own unique character. The articles written by ghostwriters may sound like they are generated by a machine rather than by a live person with personality. This may turn out looking more like duplicate content, which you definitely want to avoid.

Remember that the main elements of a good article are a captivating title, an introductory paragraph with good keywords and a bit of a teaser to make readers interested in reading more, a main body scattered with good keywords written in a conversational tone, and a concluding paragraph that includes your keywords once. If you can do all that in about 600 words, and write as many original articles as possible, you've found the key to promoting your business online!

Notes from a Novice: My Marketing Adventure

by Dana Davalos

Well, here goes. I'm going to give this "writing" thing a shot, even though I'm not much of a writer. Right now, my graphic design site only gets a hundred or so hits a week -- and that's not even enough to show up as a blip on the radar when Google searches the Net.

I've tried writing search engine optimized articles in the past to sell my graphic design services and I've got to tell you -- it didn't do me much good. Search engine algorithms get smarter all the time, and keyword-stuffing doesn't work nearly as well as it used to. One of my clients (who will remain nameless) asked me to do a series of SEO pieces for his band's website -- and their site ranking actually went down as a result.

During a rare day of accelerated motivation, I was doing some Web research and came across the concept of article marketing. Fans of the practice claim that if you do it right, writing one or two articles a week about your business will drive traffic (and therefore money) right into your hands. So here's the experiment: I want to take the $5,000 per year I make now off my online efforts and turn it into $15,000. Ideally, articles like this one will help me get there!

The concept is simple: All I have to do is write one or two of these articles per week (provided I can keep up my motivation!) and when I distribute them to online content sites, I'll start getting links and improving my PageRank. That all sounds well and good, but I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Distributing articles to these sites is tedious!

It seems like every content site has totally different parameters: This one wants 75 characters per line, that one wants 70. This one accepts HTML coding, that one wants all plain text -- absolutely no HTML. By the time I had successfully submitted my latest article to three places, I was ready to uncork the chardonnay and call it a night! It took nearly four hours just to get my words out on three websites. I was ready to give up on the Internet for good after that.

After a little more reading, I discovered that I was not alone. In fact, there were so many other people like me that some enterprising Internet gurus had created systems that would negate the need for all the busy-work. I'm not sure yet whether I want to sign up for a paid subscription to one of these sites, so I'm going to do a little further research.

The first place I looked at was isnare. They offer a free article distribution service, but in order to reach their entire list of 40,000 sites you need to pay a fee -- something that is fairly commonplace in this industry. The fees work on a sliding scale depending upon how many articles you want to submit. It costs $10 to submit five pieces, right on up to $100 for 115 articles.

The next place I looked at was PhantomWriters. Cool name, right? I pictured myself wearing a leotard and a cape, flying from website to website distributing pearls of wisdom.

PhantomWriters has a snazzy website that is quite content-rich itself. In fact, I got pretty caught up reading some of their writing tips! This service is a little more expensive, ringing in at $35 per submission, or a volume discount of $200 for 10 articles. This one seemed a little steep for my budget, so I moved right along.

My next Internet search brought me to SubmitYourArticles. They charge a flat rate of $37 per month for four article submissions, which works out to just under $10 per article. They also offer HTML editing tools and a good directory of tips and tricks to get your work published.

Another service I found was Article Marketer. They work on a subscription system, and each level of subscriber can submit unlimited articles during the course of their subscription. The quarterly subscription is $74.99 right on up to a lifetime package for just under $500. Article Marketer submits to more than 66,000 sites. They also employ a team of editors who read each article to make sure it's publishable.

All four of these places have something unique to offer, and depending upon the volume of articles I submit, each of them could be a better value. In the end, it's all up to me -- and you!

Must Know Article Marketing Tips!

by Daniel Millions

The importance of articles in todays websites and internet based companies are immeasurable. They dictate a lot in the success and the drive of traffic into one's site. It has become a key element in making a site work and earns a profit. A website operator and owner must have the good sense to include articles in his or her site that will work for them and earn them the many benefits articles can give to their site.

Articles have been known to be the driving force in driving traffic to a website. Articles are a factor in giving site high rankings in search result pages. The higher a site ranks the bigger slice of the traffic flow pie he gets. With a huge number in traffic flow, there are more profits and more potential for other income generating schemes as well.

But, it is not just about stuffing your site with articles; they have certain requirements as well. These requirements must be met to obtain the maximum benefits an article will provide for your site. A well written article will catch the eyes and interest of your customers and keep them coming back for more. They would also be able to recommend your site to others.

Here are some tips to help you and assist you in making your articles. Below you will read about four things all articles must have to make it successful and helpful in making your site a profit earning and traffic overflowing site.

Keywords and Keyword Phrases.

An article must always be centered on the keywords and keyword phrases. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who are just merely browsing but actually looking for a specific something. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for (e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer and Etcetera). It could be anything they want.

The Important thing is that you have an article that has the keywords that are related to your site. For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must be able t have articles about cars and their parts. There are many tools in the internet that provides service in helping a webmaster out in determining what keywords and keyword phrases are mostly sought out. You can use this tool to determine what keywords to use and write about.

Keyword Density

Know that you have your keywords and keyword phrases, you must use them fully. An article must have good keyword density for a search engine to feel its presence. Articles should at least have ten to fifteen percent of keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. Getting a high rank is what articles do best for a site.

Keyword density is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used on an article. The number varies depending on the number of words used in an article. An effective article must have a keyword density that is not too high or too low. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader as well as the search engines. It comes off as overeager. A low number may be ignored by the search engines.

Good Article Content

Like what is stated above, you cannot just riddle an article with keywords. They must also be regarded as good reading materials. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information and help for their needs. Articles should be written well with correct spelling and good grammar. If you want people to trust you, make your work good and well thought out.

People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Try to get great information and as many facts as you can. A good and well written article will boost your reputation as an expert in your chosen field or topic. As more people believe in you. They will be able to trust you and your products.

Linking Articles

And another important thing to remember. If you are going to submit articles to ezines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, don't ever forget to include a link to your site. A little resource box with a brief description of your site and you should always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted. If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site.

The Easiest Way To Create Articles - Public Domain!

by joseph holland

There are many webmasters that find writing articles for their site to be a very tedious task. Many people who need to write articles also procrastinate as much as they can to delay the amount of writing they need to do. Many people dread writing articles because they find researching for the topic and writing down original materials will be too taxing on them.

You need to have your creative juices flowing and simply downloading an article would be plagiarism or tantamount to stealing, not exactly. Have you ever heard about public domain? These are articles written down by many authors that have declared their works to be public domain, which means anybody can use it for whatever purpose they want.

While most authors would prefer to copyright their work for their rights, there are also a number who doesn't mind sharing their work. Public domain articles are not owned by anybody and can be used and abused by anyone. The writers have waived their rights to their works and it is out there for the public to make use of.

You can use public domain articles in helping you write your articles. With the public domain articles you can simply edit them to your own style and rewrite them as you please to make it suitable for your needs. All the ideas are there already and its just a matter of finding the write article with the topic or subject you need.

This is probably the easiest way to write articles. You don't need to scour around the library or the internet for hours for information and start an article from scratch. For webmasters who are looking for articles to fill their site and to generate a high ranking for their website in search engine results, they can just modify the article by infusing keywords and keyword phrases related to their site.

A webmaster or website operator do not risk any chance of getting sued for copyright infringement because they are public domain, once again meaning that anybody can use it. Writing articles by using public domain wont require as much work as writing one from scratch would. You save a lot of time also.

One good factor in using public domain articles for your site or for any project is that you save a lot of money. You dismiss the need to hire experienced and seasoned writers that some website operators use to write their articles. While a single five hundred worded article would only set you down 10 to 15 dollars, this cost will drastically increase when you need hundreds of articles to fill the needs of your site.

For those who needs articles to generate newsletters or an e-zine, public domain articles will be very beneficial. You do not need to count on your contributors or pay writers to write down articles for your newsletter or e-zine. You can fill all the pages without any cost or the worry of being sued and sought after by the writers. You can simply copy the articles and place them on your newsletter and e-zine.

Public domain articles are a virtual untapped resource that many people fail to realize the true value. The power of articles, keywords and keyword phrases have been deemed invaluable these past few years for many internet based businesses and sites that want to rank high in search engine results.

The number of article and content writers have grown significantly due to the rise in the demand for articles. As newer and newer topics and subjects have arisen, there are many demands for new articles to be written. An industry has been formed and this is a worldwide demand.

6 Red Hot Tips To Get Your Articles Read

by joseph holland

There are many people who dread having to write papers or articles. Many just feel like it seems to be too much work and it all just goes to waste when no one reads them. To some people, reading articles seems like work too, especially if the article is boring and very bland. Well, articles are supposed to be read, that's their purpose to impart your message and information. If it is not read then it is a waste of time and effort.

But all the same, articles have to be written to be read. It's just a matter of making them good. Making a good article doesn't have to be strenuous and straining. There are just some points needed to be reminded of, and some guides to follow. Once you get the hang of it, writing articles could be fun, as well as profitable for you and your site.

Of course, writing articles must be about something you know about, that's why if you own a site, you probably is knowledgeable about that certain topic and theme. When you write about it, you won't have a hard time because you already know what it is and what it's about. It's just a matter of making your articles creative and interesting.

To make sure that your articles get read and enjoyed, here are six red hot tips to get your articles read. These tips will make your articles readable and interesting.

1) Use short paragraphs.
When the paragraph are very long, the words get jumbled in the mind of the reader just looking at it It can get quite confusing and too much of a hard work to read. The reader will just quickly disregard the paragraph and move on to much easier reading articles that are good to look at as well as read. Paragraphs can be a single sentence, sometimes even a single word!

2) Make use of numbers or bullets.
As each point is stressed out, numbers and bullets can quickly make the point easy to remember and digest. As each point, tip, guide or method is started with a bullet or point, readers will know that this is where the tips start and getting stressed. Format you bullets and numbers with indentations so that your4 article won't look like a single block of square paragraphs. Add a little bit of flair and pizzazz to your articles shape.

3) Use Sub-headings to sub-divide your paragraphs in the page. Doing this will break each point into sections but still would be incorporated into one whole article. It would also be easy for the reader to move on from one point to another; the transition would be smooth and easy. You will never lose your readers attention as well as the point and direction to where the article is pointing.

4) Provide a good attention-grabbing title or header. If your title can entice a person's curiosity you're already halfway in getting a person to read your article. Use statements and questions that utilize keywords that people are looking for. Provide titles or headers that describe your articles content but should also be short and concise.

Use titles like, "Tips on making her want you more", or "How to make her swoon and blush" .You could also use titles that can command people, for example, "Make her yours in six easy Ways". These types of titles reach out to a persons emotions and makes them interested.

5) Keep them interested from the start to the finish. From your opening paragraph, use real life situations that can be adopted by the reader. Use good descriptions and metaphors to drive in your point, just don't over do it. Driving your examples with graphic metaphors and similes would make it easy for them to imagine what you are talking about. Making the experience pleasurable and enjoyable for them.

6) Utilize figures when necessary and not just ordinary and insipid statements. Using specific facts and figures can heighten your article because it makes it authoritative. But do not make it too formal, it should be light and easy in them and flow. Like a friendly teac her having a little chat with an eager student.

Shorten Your Pathway to Financial Rewards...Create the Better Mousetrap

by Jackson Summerford

If you build a better mousetrap, the world will beat a pathway to your door.

Historians believe this saying dates back to the 1400s, but today, Marketers realize that the similarities between history and the application of the analogy go hand-in-hand.

Marketers, for years, have looked for a perfect solution to connect clients with consumers in a foolproof way. They always believed this miracle elixir must offer specific information to consumers, creating an immediate need that must be satisfied.

Presto! Marketing has evolved to meet the need.

Advertising science addressed the linkage between clients and consumers, but did not offer immediate results which could be authoritatively measured. You might have sold more products, but analyzing the client who was watching/listening/absorbing your advertising did not offer a true scientific analysis. Once the study of demographics evolved to a management science, marketers were able to recognize who the target was, and clients could purchase advertising to appeal to a specific niche.

The growth process and evolution of radio, television, movies, and online digital media has now brought this connection full circle once again, we have the same type of one-on-one relationship originally existing between shopkeepers and customers. Do you think it unusual to compare the best marketing practices of today to sales techniques which have been around since the turn of the century? It only reminds us of the saying everything old is new, again.

What is the name of this modern miracle?

Article Marketing.

Write an article and tell your story, addressing your reader directly. Press Enter on your computer keyboard and watch the magic happen. Connect to your readers. Connect with your clients. Make this immediate connection that drives sales and profits.

Every Marketing class that has ever been taught in the world teaches differentiation. Showing your customers how your product or service is different has always been the target. For so long, we have not had the ability to connect directly with consumers, but we have told our marketing story through surrogates; funny stories, entertaining pictures, cute, musical jingles, Now, you have the opportunity to share with the customer exactly and directly what you want them to hear. You can cut out the middleman. They want to hear what you have to say. It is a true win-win.

Moreover, marketing news becomes real news for your buyers. What you have to say can be new, insightful, and create demand with your reader. Marketers do not want to just write; you want to have your material read, too.

When you use Article Marketing as your communications medium with your clients, the clients read what you say. Marketers get results, they drive links, traffic and search engine placements in a way that is fast and easy. And it is cost effective.

It is almost magic.

The painstaking and time-killing requirement of identifying buyer intentions is no longer of paramount importance. You know your buyer wants to hear what you will tell her, because she has told you so. Requirements for purchase probability studies are removed. Sales force approvals are always important and sales input as to what to say is probably reinforced even more critically in the sales process, as all parts of the sales chain can interconnect more clearly and more rationally.

Development of your brand equity becomes a simpler, more controlled process. By letting you know their needs, you can even go so far as to custom develop what the customer tells you she wants. If the customer is satisfied with the offer, you have made and kept your promise to her. The value of your brand equity increases. As the assets of your business and your offers increase in value, your sales to your customer will increase, and this, in turn, will generate more loyalty and word of mouth marketing.

What is the key to the success of using Article Marketing as your Marketing vehicle?

One must recognize of the fact that consumers are in control, and you must give them what they want. They will tell you what they want to see, and you will offer it to them. They control the offerings. You are not focused on what the packaging for your offering appears, or how it will fit on a store shelf; you are focused on making sure that you meet the consumer demand.

Finally, the aspect of image is strictly controlled through your Article Marketing efforts. You create a perception, and the article you develop creates a reality. The sale of the product or service satisfies the need of the consumer.

Several Article Marketing sites now offer some type of editing as a critical process, but I believe the best is now offered through ArticleMarketer.com.

Keep in mind that the words you write communicate your image and presentation. Most of us need editing to make our writing concise and powerful.

I have found that ArticleMarketer.com and the Diamond Assurance Review Process offers the best overall approach and helps me develop concepts and thoughts in a way which both protects my writing, and helps to communicate my message well.

How To Make People Click With A Great Resource Box

by Gaetane Ross

The internet is the information highway, this phrase has been used so may times it should be nominated for the Internet Clich Award. People that go to the internet are subdivided into groups, but generally, they are out to search information. Whether for gaming, business, fun or anything else the internet has provided us with information that has proved to be very beneficial.

Through the recent years many people have learned the secrets of Search Engine Optimization. More and more sites have seen the effects articles have done for the traffic of their sites. Some have even created sites devoted entirely to providing articles that could be read by their website visitors and have links that could lead to many sites that are related to the topics and subjects of the articles.

For example, the sites may feature many articles about a whole lot of topics. As a website visitor reads the articles they have searched for, they can find at the end of the article a resource box that can be clicked on to link them to the site that has submitted the article. Of course the article would be in relation to the site. Lets say if the article is about rotating the tires, the resource box may lead to a link to a site that sells tires or car parts.

A resource box is what you usually find at the end of an article. They will contain the name of the author, a brief description of the author, a brief description of the sponsoring site and a link. If a reader likes what they read, they would have the tendency to find out where the article came from to read more. The resource bow will be their link to the source of the article and this will entice them to go to the site and do some more reading or research for the subject or topic they are interested in.

But like the article itself, the resource box must also be eye-catching to demand the attention and interest of the reader. While the resource bow encompasses only a small space, providing the right keywords and content for your resource box will provide more prodding for the reader to go to your site.

Now we know what resource boxes are, what are the benefits of having a good resource box? Mainly its driving traffic to your site. Many sites would allow articles to be placed in their sites because they can make use of the articles to fill their pages. They also get affiliation with other sites that can be beneficial for them as well. For the sponsoring site, when you get people to click on your resource box, you generate traffic that can be counted upon as potential customers.

So what would be a good content for your resource box? Basically it is keywords, learning about the proper keywords that people are mainly searching for. There are many tools you can find in the internet that can help you in determining what keywords to use.

Resource boxes can also make use of all the creativity it can get. You only get a small space for your resource box so you better make the most of it. Try to catch the attention of your reader with resource box content that can make them give a second look. Unlike TV ads, you don't have visual aids to drive your point in. But you do have the power of imagination of a reader. With the right content, you can make them think and intrigued.

Another tip is to use keywords that should be related to your site. Do not mislead your potential website visitors. Build your credibility so that more people would get enticed to visit your site and browse what you have to offer. Make the people click your resource box by providing resource box content that makes a lasting impression. You only get one chance to wow them and hundreds of chances to repulse them.

Never underestimate the power of the resource box. It may be small in size but they will provide a significant aid in driving traffic to your site. A boring resource box will never get a job done. Be fun and creative but at the same time show that you have a great deal to offer, too much to ask for something that couldn't fit a paragraph? Yes and no, there are many tips and guides that can help you in doing this, the first step is realizing how important a resource box could be in making people click your link and be directed to your site.
