Article Marketing Is All About Titles

by Gary Shaw

For the many authors who do not yet know how to make article marketing work for their business, they are actually wasting all their time and efforts. A total waste.

Why? Because even though you are producing quality articles, they are not really getting near enough your targeted market.

For those who have been taught about copywriting outside the online world, they would know that the title or headline is one thing that will determine if the content will be successful or not.

In books, for example, the first thing that people see is the title. And people, being critical, have the tendency to judge the whole book just from the title. They will even get to the point where the headline alone will make them buy or not buy that book. This is the same thing with online print ads.

But it is a different case with article marketing. In article marketing, your articles are targeted to audiences that have an interest in them. This is the basic idea behind distributing one online. You have to make sure that your article marketing will be seen by consumers and potential consumers alike.

One of the most common misconceptions about articles online is that people will just read them at random just like they do with books or any printed materials they see offline.
So with article marketing, you are assuming that people will just randomly check out your article once they see it posted.

This is wrong. Visitors online do not just chance upon anything on the Internet. They are there in the first place to look for or they need something. When looking for the things they need, they do not just get into the first website they see.

Most of them will probably use the search engines to achieve what they are looking for. Chances are, they will choose one of the more popular search engines and type in the keywords related to the topic they need there. Then the search engines will display the results found.
Your goal now in article marketing is for your articles to be prominent in the search engines.

Truthfully, the only difference between you and articles experts is time. If you will invest a little more time in reading, you will be that much nearer to expert status when it comes to articles.

How do you make this possible?

By using the right title.

The success of your article will be based on the first 3 or 4 words of your title. It will determine how much traffic your article will get back to your website. This can only be attained when you have created keyword rich titles that will match the most common keywords related to your content.

To know what are the rich keywords and the right ones that you should use for your articles, it would be best to use a keyword research tool. Some of this software is free but some are not. Try to look for the sites that are offering this software. It will prove to be a valuable tool needed for successful article marketing.

It is vital that you learn and understand how to go about keyword research whether or not you are using a web-based research tool or not.

When choosing a headline or title for your article, try not to include rubbish characters. These are quotes, asterisks or anything that search engines will find difficult to understand. You would not want them to discard your articles totally just because they cannot make any sense out of your title.

Also, do not get into some of the search engine spam technique of giving out keyword rich titles that are in no way related to your articles. You will just get into big trouble once the search engines have filtered out people doing these things.

If you want to get the most out of your article marketing strategy, you must master keyword research so that you can make keyword rich and clever article titles or headlines.
Your pay off will be huge amounts of traffic to your articles and website thanks to the search engines who love reading titles.

There is really no great secret to having a successful marketing strategy. Once you know some of the important factors that are needed to make it work, there will be no stopping you from getting the customers you want and the search engine position you sought.

There's no doubt that the topic of articles can be fascinating. If you still have unanswered questions about articles, you may find what you're looking for in the next article.

Making Money with Articles: The Importance of Picking a Catchy URL

by Jack Bornstein

One of the first things you will need to do, or possibly last if you need some inspiration, after you pick your niche topic is to pick a catchy URL. You want it to be one that will stand out and that will be easy to remember for those who plan on being return visitors.

To get some ideas and inspiration, take a look at the various keywords that you have singled out for your niche to see if any of those have a catchy ring. You want it to be kind of used car salesman sounding, rather than something that is boring or does not have an original sound to it. For example, if your niche is blah, you could try MegaBlah, Blah4u, HouseofBlah, or BlahKingdom. These will all be original, explain what you niche is, and, most importantly, will be easy to remember.

How easy your URL is to remember is the most important so that your visitors will not have any trouble returning and clicking on more affiliate links!

Making Money with Articles: Banner Advertisements

When you are trying to make money off of the articles on your website, it is important to effectively promote your site so that you will attract customers and they can see just what a good, quality site you have. There are several ways so market and promote your website, one of them being though banner advertisements.

What Banner Ads Can Do For You

Banner ads can help bring visitors from others sites to your own. Although monthly fees can be expensive to advertise on high traffic sites, in the end it may be cheaper and/or a faster way to start seeing significant revenue from your website efforts, rather than waiting for SEO techniques to bring your own site to the top of search engine results. Aside from paying to advertise on someone else's site, there are also free banner exchanges to choose from. We will look at the pros and cons of each banner advertising method below.

Free Banner Exchanges

Free banner exchanges are when you and other sites exchange each others banners. Their banner will go on your site and your banner will go one their site. Although this option is free, there are two main problems with it. First, if you want your banner on a significant number of sites, it will mean cluttering your own site up with these banners. This could even shot you in the foot if you run an affiliate website because, instead of clicking on your affiliate links, your visitors may be clicking on your banner exchange links. Secondly, you have to be really careful about the types of sites that you exchange banners with. Some sites like to gather a lot of banners so that they can be a directory or portal site and not have to have any real content. These banner farms or link farms will do nothing positive for your site and, in the meantime, you will be bringing them potential traffic.

Paid Banner Ads

As we saw above, paid banner ads cost money, but they will eventually pay off if you choose the right ones. You need to ensure that the site produces the amount of traffic that they say and that they have your ad placed in a way that invites visitors to click without being too pushy. You also want to choose a site that does not house too many other banners on the same page as yours or that there are no competitor links on the same page.

All in all, banner ads can end up being profitable for you site if you go about it the right way. If you do decide to check out banner advertisement as a marketing avenue, be sure to keep the above tips in mind.

Profiting With Private Label Content

by Jason Oickle

If you need both efficiency and effectiveness when searching for content to make your website more attractive to the end user, private labels articles is one of the best choices available today. Various article providers offer prewritten articles on a wide variety of subjects that you can use for your website.

The best part is, all of these providers hold no claim on the rights of these articles, so you can put your name on them as if you had written them yourself. Let's face it, this is a much better way to fill your website with useful content instead of having to tediously write each and every article yourself, particularly if you have no talent for writing or just plain hate to write.

It's sad but true that you must be knowledgeable on your chosen topic and have a bit of computer savvy for maintaining a top-quality website, on the other hand, writing articles is NOT a prerequisite. Private label articles are the best way to fill this void.

Here are some ways that you can profit with private label articles:

1. Increase Your Web Site Traffic.

The truth is, the more interesting and captivating the articles are on a website, the more traffic you'll recieve. The more people that visit your website reguraly, the more money you will make. Article providers usually give their members a huge selection of articles to pick and choose from, so much so, that you'll never run out articles to put on your site.

As long as the articles you choose as your content are wisely selected, you can keep your site read-worthy, making sure that the people who do visit your site keep coming back for more again and again. This will also give you higher rankings on the search engines, thus increasing your chances even more so that you can expand your client base.

2. Promotional Giveaways.

People love free stuff, especially when it's quality material. Private label articles can be used to give away information to people who regularly subscribe to your website. Releasing something like a monthly E-Magazine for your site, which is actually composed of various articles that you put together, is an excellent way to keep your subscribers active and interested. The best thing about the free E-magazine idea is, besides being relatively easy to do, it also gives your clients the impression that you have a large staff of professionals working for you, when you're really running a one man show.

3. Search Engine Compatibility.

Private label articles are usually ghostwritten by people who like to fill their articles with keywords and keyword phrases. So, if you use these articles on your website, you increase the odds that people will actually find your site using such keywords in the search engines.

The increased volume of traffic to your site itself will also increase your ranking on the various search engines out there, creating a self-sustaining system which guarantees that you'll get a lot of hits. Combine this with a lot of interesting articles designed to keep people coming back, and your website is sure to succeed.

4. Ebooks.

Another way that you can make huge profits with private label articles is to take various related articles and actually merge them together to form a large ebook. Since PLR article providers give their members the right to add their names on the articles and claim authorship of them, you can even take this a step further and place your name as the author of the ebooks.

Not only is this a huge potential source of income, this method also gives you credibility and competence that will increase the confidence that your clients and readers will have in you.

These are just a few things that you can do with private label rights articles. These articles have become a fact of life now, and while most people still write all of their own material for their websites, more and more people are starting to see the ease with which Private Label articles can be used to make a profit with less effort. Make sure you don't get left behind.

4 Things ALL Articles Must Have

by Dina Fedorova

The importance of articles in today's websites and internet based companies are immeasurable. They dictate a lot in the success and the drive of traffic into one's site. It has become a key element in making a site work and earns a profit. A website operator and owner must have the good sense to include articles in his or her site that will work for them and earn them the many benefits articles can give to their site.

One way of promoting your website and product can be achieved for free. As an additional bonus, this "free" method can boost your sites and sales, doubling and even tripling your income.

How does this work?

Write articles relating to your website and submit them to "free content" submission sites. Easy to do, takes little time and can increase your website traffic, sales and of course, your income.

How can article writing boost traffic and income?

The article on thet site contains a link to your own website. Readers, after reading your articles, may choose to click on the link and pay you an unexpected visit. Having them on the free content sites is also making these articles available to other webmasters who may wish to publish that article on their site.
If they do, your article will include a link back to your site. And anyone who reads the article on that site can still click on the link to visit your site.

As the list of your published articles grow larger, and more and more of them are appearing on different websites, the total number of links to your site increases also. Major search engines are placing a lot of significance on incoming links to websites so they can determine the importance of a certain site.
The more incoming links the website has, the more importance search engines attaches to it. This will then increase your website's placement in the search results.

If you site is into promoting a product or service, the links that your articles have achieved will mean more potential customers for you. Even if visitors only browse through, you never know if they might be in need of what you are offering in the future.

There are also those who already have specific things they need on their mind but cannot decide yet between the many choices online. Chances are, they may stumble upon one of your articles, gets interested by the contents you wrote, go to your site and became enticed by your promotions. See how easy that is?

Search engines do not just index the websites, they also index published articles. They also index any article that is written about your own website's topic. So once someone searches for that same topic, the list of results will have your site or may even show the articles that you have written.

And to think, no effort on your part was used to bring them to your site. Just your published articles and the search engines.

It is no wonder why many webmasters are suddenly reviving their old writing styles and taking time to write more articles about their site than doing other means of promotion.

Getting their site known is easier if they have articles increasing their links and traffic and making it accessible for visitors searching the internet. Since many people are now taking their buying needs online, having your site on the search engines through your articles is one way of letting them know about you and your business.

The good thing with articles is that you can write about things that people would want to know about. This can be achieved in the lightest mood but professional manner, with a little not-so-obvious sales pitch added.

If you think about it, only a few minutes of your time is spent on writing one article and submitting to free content site.

In the shortest span of time also, those are distributed to more sites than you can think of. Even before you know what is happening, you are getting more visitors than you previously had.

Here are some tips to help you and assist you in making your articles. Below you will read about four things all articles must have to make it successful and helpful in making your site a profit earning and traffic overflowing site.

* Keywords and Keyword Phrases.

An article must always be centered on the keywords and keyword phrases. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who are just merely browsing but actually looking for a specific something. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for (e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer and Etcetera). It could be anything they want.

The Important thing is that you have an article that has the keywords that are related to your site. For example, if you maintain an auto parts site, you must be able t have articles about cars and their parts. There are many tools in the internet that provides service in helping a webmaster out in determining what keywords and keyword phrases are mostly sought out. You can use this tool to determine what keywords to use and write about.

* Keyword Density

Know that you have your keywords and keyword phrases, you must use them fully. An article must have good keyword density for a search engine to "feel" its presence. Articles should at least have ten to fifteen percent of keyword density in their content for search engines to rank a site high in their search results. Getting a high rank is what articles do best for a site. is the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase is used on an article. The number varies depending on the number of words used in an article. An effective article must have a keyword density that is not too high or too low. With a very high density, the essence of the article is lost and may turn off a reader as well as the search engines. It comes off as overeager. A low number may be ignored by the search engines.

* Good Article Content

Like what is stated above, you cannot just riddle an article with keywords. They must also be regarded as good reading materials. Articles must be able to entertain people as well as provide good information and help for their needs. Articles should be written well with correct spelling and good grammar. If you want people to trust you, make your work good and
well thought out.

People respond well to figures, facts and statistics. Try to get great information and as many facts as you can. A good and well written article will boost your reputation as an expert in your chosen field or topic. As more people believe in you.
They will be able to trust you and your products.

* Linking Articles

And another important thing to remember. If you are going to submit articles to ezines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, DON'T ever forget to include a link to your site. A little resource box with a brief
description of your site and you should always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted. If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site.

If you think you are wasting your time writing these articles, fast forward to the time when you will see them printed and wide-spread on the internet. Not to mention the sudden attention and interest that people are giving your website and your products or services.

Try writing some articles and you will be assured of the sudden surge in site traffic, link popularity and interest. Before you know it, you will be doubling and even tripling your earnings.

Nothing like getting benefits for something you got for free.

How To Start An Article Directory Business

by james lowe

If and when you are looking for a, high potential and realistic online money making opportunity, an article directory may be a good fit for you.

These quality directories, which have been popular and solid for a long time, can make you money in several established and accepted ways. Internet business owners are looking for article, ebook, web content and other writers on article directories. You could sell these product on an article directory web site.

Other affiliate related services that can be used by article writers and other article directory webmasters include article submission services and immediate translation service software. This can multiply your page and article count software on your web site, by eight times the different languages at least, giving you far more adsense ad exposure and higher page rankings. This is why they can be profitable for you.

There are also quality article gathering services, available on the internet, that can gather over one hundred quality articles a day directly to your web site for you. This will also help increase your web site ranking by strictly following general internet rules.

There are numerous details that go into starting an article directory for a profit.

However, if you pick the right people to work with from the beginning, you will be able to handle them with the assistance of expert web site builders. Once you become comfortable with them you can start to make a profit in a reasonable amount of time from having a quality web site with affiliate links.

I also suggest having a free web ring link on your page to further enhance your web site. Your web master helper can help you find this.

When starting an article directory business, or any internet business you will need to have a quality website that people can visit and go through smoothly.

Your article directory site needs to be well laid out and easy to navigate down through the last order information to order written articles and ebooks from your online order forms.

If your visitor leads have to struggle through a lot of trouble to find what they are looking for they will simply go elsewhere. People will not order if they feel unconfident about getting their products from you. However, the easier you can make it on your precious visitors, the better opportunity you will have of being successful at your business.

With your new article directory you can make a lot of money with Google Adsense. If you opt for Adsense, Google will place ads on every page of your article directory that you want. And anytime that a member clicks on one of these ads you will get paid; it is that simple.

So the more pages of content that you have on your site, the better chance there is that you will make a lot of money with just Adsense. You already know exactly how to get lots of quality pages and content articles from the beginning of this article.

In addition, you can place banner affiliate ads on your pages as well. These can be put pretty much anyplace where there is a bit of space. However, ask your webmaster pal exactly where they should be placed on your site for best results.

As you begin to get more and more traffic at your site, the price that you can sell ad space for will begin to increase.

As you can move up in the Alexa ratings sector of the article directory industry you can sell ad space for higher and higher premiums. Other sites are always looking for a way to get their name promoted and known.

What better way than to advertise on a high traffic site that brings in a lot of different types of people. This can be yours as your increasingly higher ranking will help you attain this.

If you are going to start an article directory keep in mind that there is a lot of competition out there. Some is good and a lot is not so good.

Not only are there several well established article directory sites, but there are many more starting up that are up and coming. The steady workers will make it and the now and then workers will not make it. That is simply how the system works.

This is not to say that you should stay away. On the contrary. The fact of the matter is that you can make big money if you stick with your plan.

Another fact is that it takes a full year of persistent, daily work, upkeep and study to get you to the fast growing profit point. This is doable but it does not do itself. Okay?

An article directory can be a great online business venture for you. It can be easy to get started, and when it comes to marketing and promotion they are not that difficult either, if, you find the right mentors and web masters to help you start and grow this legitimate and unique business. They are available on the internet.

Can you imagine starting your own article directory and making big, honest, residual cash each and every month. Can you promise yourself to make the commitment of time money, study and work to make this happen?

Most people do not do so. This lessens your competition. You can make this dream come true if you are willing to be focused, persistent and go for it!

Public Domain Articles - Free Articles For Your Online Business

by John Edmond

If you are an internet entrepreneur you have undoubtedly given more than a passing thought to using articles as a way to drive traffic to your site. It's a fact of life for most internet business people it is probably the least popular activity.

But there is a way to find timely, free articles for your website - without having to write them yourself and without having to pay a writer to develop them for you. By using articles in the public domain, you can access thousands of articles on a wide variety of subjects.

And here's the good part - the authors of these articles have all relinquished rights to the work and declared them part of the Public Domain.

Which means you can use them - free of charge.

What is Public Domain?

Work in the Public Domain is any work that has no claim of ownership, rights, royalties, etc., by its original author or creator. Work is generally considered to be in the Public Domain when the work is available to anyone for either business or personal use.

Content comes into the Public Domain for a number of reasons. In some cases, the original copyright has expired, and in others the author created the work with the intent that it would be part of the Public Domain. Writers do this for all kinds of reasons - from portfolio building to just plain vanity! But it's a real boon to internet businesses - if you know how to use them to your advantage.

Where to Find Them - How to Use Them

Public Domain articles are easy to find by doing a simple search on the internet. In many cases you can access thousands upon thousands of articles from one or two sites, but there are also more creative ways to find content.

One of the ways to find unique copy is to look for books in the Public Domain. By finding and altering excerpts from books in the Public Domain, you have a better chance of posting content that other businesspeople may not have found. You can do the same thing by excerpting portions of articles and newsletters, all of which are freely available and easy to find online.

Make Them Yours

One of the only drawbacks to using works in the Public Domain is that they aren't, by definition, original. You found them - and that means someone else probably has, too. And while free articles are great, boring-and-mass-produced articles aren't! The good news is that there are ways you can take advantage of these works and still make them unique to your business.

The easiest thing to do is to find a few articles on the topics specific to your purposes and then adjust them a little. You can do this by taking the main themes of the articles and reworking them into a semi-new piece, or you can "clean up" the article a little, tweaking a few words here and adding a few phrases there to make it more unique.

Optimizing Public Domain articles by seeding them with keywords specific to your business is another way to make the content unique. Doing this gives you a couple of advantages in one fell swoop - you're making the articles more unique for your business, while also using SEO content to drive more traffic to your site. It's a quick and efficient way to kill two birds with one stone!

Public Domain - The Internet's Best-Kept Secret

As internet businesses continue to grow, the demand for web-based content will only increase. By utilizing work in the Public Domain, you can ramp up your business quickly and with minimal investment.

And that means seeing a return on your investment more quickly than ever.

It's simply because there is no targeted internet traffic to your website or no one knows your website even exists.

Targeted internet traffic means that there should be specific people entering your website. You should generate targeted internet traffic to boost your ranking in your search engine so more people can find your website.

To generate targeted internet traffic to your website you should advertise your website. You may have seen products being introduced on TV or the newspaper. It works the same in the internet; you have to grab people's attention, so that they would actually visit your website. You may ask how do you this?

To write an article you must first think of a subject or topic that would be related to your product. If you are selling pet products, you might want to write about pets. After you thought of a topic to discuss, research it, make sure that your research findings are all facts about your topic. You can also base your research on other articles.

Article Marketing - The Proven New Seo Mantra

by Jonathan White

This is an introduction for the beginners to the powerful world of Article Marketing.

What is Article Marketing?

Recently SEO expert Jim Boykin was asked a question "Content or links?". According to him both are equally important. The days of just relying on links for the most part are history now.

You have a good web site with lot of useful and original stuff, but you are not getting enough traffic from Search Engines. Your analysis points to lack of back links coming from web sites with high PRs. You are wondering how to fill this void. This is where Article Marketing comes into picture. It is this space that Article Marketing fills.

Search engines give a lot of importance to back links coming from sites with higher Page Ranks. And almost all good sites with higher PRs are hungry for good content. Search Engines tend to give importance to sites with compelling content provided they have good number of votes (back links) too.

So, How Does Article Marketing Work?

To understand this, we need to understand the terminology and the players in this game.

The Author: One who owns the content and it is his details that the Author Resource Box will contain.

Author Resource Box: This is nothing but a small paragraph about the author. It typically contains the name of the author, his/her professional/personal capacity which makes him/her an authority for the content, the web site that he/she belongs to and a few words from the author addressing the reader.

Article Directory/ Distribution Service: This typically is a free repository for the authors to submit their articles. Once the editors of these directories approve, the article goes live on the directory.

The Publisher: These are webmasters looking for high quality content to enrich their web sites. They browse these directories and pick the interesting articles, relevant to their sites. The TOS of the Distribution Service dictates that they publish the article "as is", including the "Author Resource Box".

That's it. Now you have high quality one-way links from web sites (many a time with high PRs) to your site. In the eyes of Search Engines, the higher the number of these links are, the higher are the votes for your page and higher your page's importance is.

Thus Article Marketing helps the link building aspect of SEO for you and the content aspect for the publishers.

There are also article publishing services that charge as low as $1 per article. These sites proactively publicize your content to tens of thousands of webmasters through their mailing lists (please note that this is not spam, mostly these will be registered users).

OK. Now that we understand the mechanics of this link building exercise, let us focus on writing good articles that are likely to be picked up by webmasters to be included in their sites and thus giving you the much needed votes (links).

Keep the content as generic as possible. Better if it is not about a particular web site nor about the products you promote. After all, the webmasters want useful content not some marketing buzz.

Research, Research and Research. Get a grasp on the topic you intend to write. Let the content flow from your understanding. Continuity is very important. After all you are taking the reader through your thoughts and your understanding of the topic at hand. See your article through the eyes of the reader.

While style is a matter of comfort, I usually enjoy reading articles where the author talks to me personally and that is naturally my style as well.

Good authors usually end articles with a summary section with highlights and a conclusion. Make sure that your Author resource box is interesting and tempting enough for readers to opt to look you up.

Follow the usual writer's checklist, like spell check, grammar check and good formatting.

** Important **: Author Resource Box is the sole reason for the creation and distribution of your articles. Write a simple and professional one or two line introduction about yourself, your web site and where to reach you. Please understand the philosophy behind the ads getting clicked more if they are at the end of a good article. This can be a great way to get good targeted traffic apart from getting the much needed votes.

That is all there is to know about article marketing. You have now understood how the content you provide fetches good links to your site/pages. You are now familiar with the mechanics of how article marketing works and the importance of author resource box.

You are fully equipped now. Get going. Give your creative powers the much needed vent, earn powerful back links and prosper.

The 11 Hows and Whys of Article Marketing

by Gary Shaw

In the world of today that is very modern and advance, there are too many ways to promote things. Since the internet is the one that seems to rule the world in development and advances in businesses, the online business is the one that needs a lot of promotion. There are many ways to promote a online business, but still the best way is the traditional one, until I guess a couple of years from now when almost all transactions will be done online.

One of the traditional ways to promote an online business is the article marketing. Article marketing is still the best way to promote a website or an online business. It generates hundreds and sometimes thousands of one way links to the site.

Article marketing is the best source of unlimited traffic to websites in terms of linking strategies and search engine optimization. Articles can be submitted online to article directories and publishers.

There are many ways to write articles. The following are some tips and advices on writing an article that are effective for article marketing.

1 Before starting to write an article, ask yourself on what would be the use of the article for your website. Well, it is more desirable because it is a new fresh way to promote your online business. Article marketing will also help build your inbound links and bring in a good amount of traffic, when written and distributed correctly. Another good reason is that it is free.

2 Articles title is vital to the distribution of your article. Make sure that the title is catchy and interesting. Use some fresh and flashy words in your title. It is the writers job to write original articles. The key to a good title is writing it after you finished writing your article.

3 Before picking your article topic, expose your target readers or audience. If you are having trouble determining your target audience, you could take a survey on your website that gives you some information about your visitors.

4 The final piece of the article should be great for it is very important, the author box or also known as the resource box. It should include some elements like your name, a bit description of you and link to your website. It better to speak in third person. In this way, the article is reprinted on another website and the text flows better. Also, try to make the author box sound as intriguing as possible.

5 Pick topics that will benefit the readers. You should list a plan or a blueprint of what to discuss and what to answer in the article. This will help you avoid straying from the topic and exclude any essential parts. Write only about topics that you know. You can also try to research from the internet. Always keep the paragraphs somewhat short. This will make the readers not overwhelmed by all the text.

6 Ask your self on how you will write effectively. This depends on the target audience and readers and the personal writing style. You may prefer to write them to be factual yet as boring as hell or you could try making it interesting with a deficiency of information. Do not make an article that is boring. Ranting about irrelevant topics should be avoided.

7 Distribute articles properly. The main purpose of writing an article is for others to read it or distribute it. There are many places you can go to submit the articles you have written for reprints, finding them is the difficult part.

Writing an article takes time just like distributing it.

Article marketing provides and offer many benefits. Some of these benefits are the following:

8 Articles help to presell products and services. It is the quality of website traffic that counts and not necessarily the quantity. The best kind of traffic you can get is from people who have read your articles and have liked what they have read.

9 Article marketing is your best way to get known as an expert in your field. If your potential costumers sees your name in an article that is well written and informative articles appearing in several websites around the internet, then the costumers will regard you as an expert in your field.

10 Article writing is a great way to generate content for your own website. Although you can look at article marketing as an outreach activity designed primarily for publication elsewhere, you can also use these articles in your own newsletters and on your own website.

11 Informative articles build trust in your ability to provide a good product or service. If you are selling online your most important asset can be seen as being knowledgeable and trustworthy if it is writhen in an article.

Article marketing is one of the best strategies for marketing especially for online businesses.

Chances are when users click onto the search engines, a related keyword, your site will come up with a good rank and become visible and accessible.

Instead of coming up with mind boggling flash images and obscure videos on your website that tend to delay the downloading time of your website, why not start writing articles?

Then you can also share these articles to other users by submitting them to submission sites. They will naturally, retain your name and the link to your website you provided upon submissions. How far your article may reach across the Web world, there will always be a link to your site. Users may even get interested in it enough to click on your web site and avail of your products and services.

If we are into internet marketing and strive for our site to gain higher ranking on major search engines, then we must also write articles.

First, articles generate word matches for the search engines to pick up. Second, articles will serve as the bridge that will mentally connect us to the people, internet users, potential customers or clients and web traffic. These people may want to consider your article as a credible source. It will also become beneficial for your web site.

Articles can be fillers, and free advertising opportunities. They can also be keyword rich and attractive contents. You can add buzzwords more often used by your target market. Article marketing is an important aspect of your internet marketing.

If you want your site to become visible and increase its traffic, then it is important to push your contents too. Make sure that these articles will be seen by the right kind of people, your target market.

What can you do to achieve this? Do not just share it in your forums or post them as content for your blogs.

Here are the other more important things you should to your article. They are considered as the immediate article marketing action.

1. Utilize your favorite online network and post your article in there. You may consider it as your online niche.

2. There are popular article submissions sites and top billing Article search engines where you can submit your articles, free of charge.

3. Likewise, check out your trusted associates and see if they already have small article sites where you can submit your articles.

4. If your article archive is already too full but you feel are still useful for other uses, add them to your blog and tag them according to categories. Then, ping your updates to blog SEO sites.

5. You can create a free e-Book featuring your articles according to a certain category. The, you can send them to a private audience, customers and clients and other faithful web site visitors.

6. You can also get into ezine sites or put up an ezine in your web site and feature your articles in there.

7. If you can spare the time and a few budgets, submit your articles to all major article directories in the Internet. You can also choose the ones that are free of charge.

Do not let your article get lost in the oblivion of the Wide Web. If you have some fears, misconceptions and hesitations in marketing your articles, then you have to overcome it right now. If you do not learn to conquer your article marketing fears, your article might end up as a wasted effort.

First, identify your fears and then, one by one, learn of ways to expel them.

Some fears that their articles have typographical errors. Well, then, it is advisable to proofread them first before you submit them.

Some feel that their articles might not be noticed in congested and popular categories related to its topic. You can search other categories that are also related and are not yet congested.

If you want to grow a business on the web, then you must realize that you cannot do away without an article. Everybody else is doing it. You should do it, too. Conquer your fears of article marketing and you will see that your articles will emerge with more improvement and better packaging as time goes by.

Articles and the amount of effort you put in marketing them can be a decisive factor to have your business emerges at the forefront of your industry. Start article marketing right now.

How You Can Really Profit From Article Marketing - Research And Writing

by Taff Martin

OK. You have decided to write an article. It should be something you are passionate about or at the very least have some knowledge of the subject.

Let's go into some depth about researching the substance of your article.

RESEARCHING YOUR SUBJECT

If you are passionate and know enough about the article subject you will probably be able to write a 700 - 1000 word article in less than 30 minutes.

Once you have chosen your niche start using the search engines to get a feel for the information that's being returned for your search phrases.

Visit some article directories, (use the term "article directories" in Google to find plenty), and do a search of these article directories to see what information other authors are submitting.

Check out Forums to see what questions people are asking then write an article with the information they are seeking. Give people what they want.

If you wish you can go down the road of researching articles and posts on newsgroups, Google / Yahoo groups, CNN, BBC and so on but to be honest this will probably result in too much information and you will never get an article written.

(It is handy to keep a small notebook and pencil with you to jot down ideas when they occur. Great ideas always occur when we don't have a pencil which is why we are not millionaires just yet!)

Writing your Article

You Can:

1. Write it yourself.

2. Out source your article to a ghost writer

3. Use Private Label Rights (PLR) articles

Here we go.

1. Write it yourself.

The majority of people will immediately say "I can't write". This is utter nonsense. People may be a little apprehensive or just plain afraid to put pen to paper for others to see but just about anyone can write an article about something they know.

It's all about comfort zones and if we are not prepared to expand our comfort zones just because we feel somewhat awkward then nothing will ever get done. So just remember you CAN write articles so get writing.

Make sure you are providing quality content. A mistake some folks make is to write adverts for their affiliate products with a link to buy. If you have given the reader a quality article they will start to trust you and eventually buy from you.

Articles are written to:-

1. Directly inform the reader through quality content and
2. Indirectly sell to the reader.

The sales part is through your resource or bio box. This is worth spending some time on as apart from wanting your readers to visit your website you also want the search engines to index the links back to your site. These links are hugely important as they carry a lot of weight with Google.

So you now have the article written with quality content. Let's look at the resource box and anchor text links.

Try to give your readers some reason to click on the links in your resource box. If they have enjoyed your article and want more information then that is a good reason. Let them know that you do have more for them but they will have to go to your website.

Anchor Text Link

It is not possible to show you the exact html as tags are not generally allowed in article bodies but my resource box is an example of anchor text and you can always use the view source function of your browser.

If possible also use a straight http:// link as sometimes the anchor text html is not allowed or not recognized by some article directories.

2. Out Source Your Article

There are numerous sites dedicated to outsourcing - Scriptlance and Elance are probably the best known. These are not just for article writing but you can hire the services of a Pro for just about anything you want.

Note: When I say Pro be careful because there are sharks around. Always deal with the writer through the site and if asked to make an outside payment through E-gold then back off as you will probably never see your money again.

It can be as cheap as $5 per article but you still need to know exactly what to ask for. It's no good saying "giving me an article on ...". You must be very specific on subject, title, keywords, keyword density and you generally have to supply resources for the ghost writer to refer to.

Sometimes by the time you have collected the resources and other article information you may as well have written the article yourself.

Check the feedback of people you intend to hire and consider that cheapest is not always best. You may be able to secure a more cost effective per article price if you want 10 or more articles written around the same theme.

3. Use Private Label Rights (PLR) articles

I am not convinced that this is really of any use at all. The "experts" are making a big deal of this at the moment and flogging off PLR packages left right and center for next to nothing... actually you can actually download PLR articles and products for free just by giving your email address.

In my experience the articles are sub standard and I would be ashamed to post them for review to a human editor. Of course you are meant to alter the articles so they magically become unique to avoid any perceived duplicate content penalties from the search engines but in all honesty the time spent changing these "articles" could be better spent doing your own research.

If you haven't tried PLR take an article and run it through Copyscape.com. Now see how long it will take for you to make a unique article.

You can buy software to transform a rubbish article into thousands of "unique articles" in seconds. Again, I am not convinced. The whole process reeks of cheating or, at best, is morally suspect and it definitely is not giving the reader quality content which is what I thought writing articles was meant to be about. Should I find a good PLR system I'll write an article on it.

You can however get some ideas for niches and the articles can at least give you a starting point for writing.

8 Tips And A Warning Or A Laymans Guide To Profiting Online With Articles

by Taff Martin

If everybody knows that article marketing, (the writing and submitting of articles to article repositories), is a sure fire winner for an online business then how come hardly anybody is doing it? Or is it more likely they are just not doing it right?

Article marketing is not just about knocking out a few articles and waiting for the cash to roll in. Like everything else it takes planning and commitment.

TIP: We all like spending money on the latest product but let's not continually fool ourselves that the next $97 we spend is definitely going to make us rich. It wont happen. In all honesty if you buy your domain name and make sure you have great hosting that's all you really need to spend at the outset.

There is some initial leg work to do such as finding your niche, choosing a domain name, setting up a website to build your list, choosing how you are going to monetize your site to name a few tasks.

TIP: Set up your website initially to give people some quality freebies. Let me just repeat the word quality. Don't use just any old junk anybody can get for free from other websites. Choose things that have been of real value to you in setting up your business. You can use these freebies to build your list as well.

For instance, I use one particular SEO book by an established expert that covers on-site and off-site optimization in sufficient detail without overwhelming you with too much detail or unnecessary jargon designed to impress rather than educate.

TIP: Forget, and I seriously mean forget, trying to monetize your site with Adsense or affiliate programs. Until you have your site set up and are receiving a nice flow of traffic nothing you will not make any money no matter how many E-Books and software packages you buy.

Like most people running an online business I am reading all the time to learn and also keep up to date with the latest happenings. As you read delete the junk and file the good.

So let's just recap. You have your website all set up, your list building forms/splash pages are in place and your auto responder is set up with a list of trust building information messages for your prospective clients.

I would not advise starting a forum. There are few people who can run these effectively. What normally happens is that everything works great starting out because there are few people to deal with and their questions can be answered promptly.

Once your list grows you will find that all you are doing is answering questions in the forum and woe betide you if you are a little late in getting back to people. Folk are generally impatient and selfish and it can create bad feeling. If you have like minded, trustworthy friends who can act as moderators this is definitely worth doing.

TIP: Use forums as a means of getting prospective clients to your site by participating in the discussions and displaying your bio box. This will also build you up as an authority on your subject. There are free ebooks around with niche forum lists.

The latest craze for joint ventures resulting in free PLR and other giveaways is taking over our lives. It is possible to be subscribed to dozens and dozens of differing lists. I subscribe to lists for good information but unfortunately most of these lists are just sending out continual, (sometimes 3 times a day), sales rubbish for products that you don't have a hope in hell of making any money with.

TIP: Try to remain focused if at all possible. There are many distractions which will not put jam on your bread.

How many of these people will respond to you personally if you have a pre-sales query about their affiliate product? Try it and see what responses you get.

TIP: Have no compunction in removing yourself from these lists otherwise the incessant "buy now" emails will either drive you crazy or make you poor. There are very few of these freebies that are even worth a minute of your time and it is not uncommon for the download links to result in 404 error pages.

Once your website is set up and ready to receive visitors now is the time to start writing and submitting your articles. You will definitely have been bombarded with emails for PLR software and membership clubs promising you thousands of unique articles which takes no effort at all.

It's up to you but I have been a member of these clubs, I have tried the software, (in fact I am trying out the latest $150 package at the moment), and what I have found so far is if you are looking for quality content then it is just as quick and the content far superior to do it yourself.

The craze with having to have thousands of pages on your site is to do with Adsense. The search engines will get around to weeding out what information they want to present to their customers and I reckon the Adsense "mega sites" will shortly be a thing of the past, at least in their present form.

TIP: Don't become obsessed with being listed in Google and making money with Adsense. Google can take months to index your pages and Adsense is just one way of earning your living.

So why is article marketing being hailed as THE way to build your online business?

Consider this flow of events:

* An author submits their article to an article directory.
* The article is approved and published by the article directory.
* The article is now visible for everyone, (and the search engines), to see.
* The article can be used on websites or in publications as long as the authors resource box is left intact.

This can result in many thousands of article views and if the article is posted on other web sites it is now producing those all important one way anchor text links back to your site that Google loves so much.

Now this is where the commitment comes in. You must produce and submit articles as often as you can. Some people can write one a day others 1 a week, just do as many as you can as often as you can. Once you start you will very quickly see your articles being indexed on the Net.

WARNING: Be aware that if you are using software to produce thousands of pages, if you upload them all at once then the major search engines will pick up on this and penalize you. They are very smart and know it is not humanly possible to produce that many articles in that time frame.

TIP: Try using an Article Submission service. A good one is almost, but not quite, submit and forget. Note these article submission services are not all created equal and it can be trial and error to find a reliable and cost effective service unless you know someone who is already using one.

There is article submitting software available ranging from free to around $400. They all have to be set up initially so try the free or very low cost ones first to get a feel for what you are doing.

Manual article submission is possible but not very time efficient. It is total, mind numbing drudgery which needs automating as much as possible.

How Do You Write An Article?

by Homer Farey

Copyright 2006 Homer Farey

You want to increase the traffic coming to your website? Write an article. Write a dozen articles. It’s not as difficult as it may seem. We all know that writing articles is one of the best ways to get traffic to our site, (And it does not cost a penny.)

That is all well and good but if you have never written an article before, how do you go about it? What do you write about? Where do you get the inspiration?

It would be easy to say 'Forget it.' and do something else. If you do, you will be passing up on one of the best ways of advertising your website for free.

Don't let these supposed problems put you off. There is an easy way to get started. Decide what you would like to write about. Next. Go to Google search and type in the word 'Articles'. You will be given a list of sites that hold thousands of articles for use by webmasters who need content for their ezines and web-pages. They are always looking for more. They can never get enough.

The articles will be listed by type. ie. Business, Commerce, Internet. etc. Pick a list that appeals to you and look at the headlines. Read as many of the articles that you have time for. This will not only be an education in its own right, it will also give you an insight as to the way the articles are written. You may make notes of things that interest you but on no account must you copy any of the text. The writer of the article has the copyright of every part of the article including the headline.

You would not be happy if someone blatantly stole parts of your articles. Be careful not to inadvertently steal theirs.

By the time you have read and studied a dozen or so articles you should have a good idea how to write one for yourself. Now is the time to relax, forget all about it. Don't even think about it until tomorrow. That's right, sleep on it. Your sub-conscious will be working hard to put everything into context.

The following day. Go to a different articles website. One who's articles you have not read, and start reading the article headlines. When you come across a headline that strikes a chord, Write it down and start writing a brand new article of your own. Don't worry. The words and phrases will come to you, they are all stored in your sub-conscious mind. The sub-conscious never forgets anything.

When you have finished writing. go back and make a substantial change to the headline . It is not yours. You only borrowed it. (It is someone else's copyright).

Now is the time to read the original article that gave you the inspiration. You will find that it is nothing like your effort. Yours may even be better. (It happens.) and you own the copyright.

You now have your very first article, ready for publication. Or have you? Nobody gets it absolutely right the first time. Why do you think newspapers have editors? Don't start making changes now. Wait a couple of days and read it again. If changes need to be made to clarify some point, or one or two typos need correcting, now is the time to do it. Even the best spell checker can get it wrong sometimes.

Doing it this way you will soon have a dozen or two articles with your 'Author's Profile' at the bottom, complete with hyperlinks to your website. Soon you will have no problem writing a new article every week.

Don't think about it. Do it. You can do anything if you just go about it the right way.

People who say ‘Can’t’ really mean they don’t know how. Be careful, Writing articles can become adictive.

Article Marketing Making the Perfect Resource Box

by Gary Shaw

Making a quality article is not enough for it to sell you have to make a resource box. Its true that quality article writing can benefit your business by generating targeted traffic but it can also benefit you as a writer.

Besides promoting your business, a reader will sometimes be someone who is looking for a good writer. If you made a quality article and did not include a resource box, the person who is looking for a good writer to employ will never know how to contact you.

A resource box contains all the information about the writer, it will be like your calling card. Since there are so many people in the internet employing good writers, you can also make extra money by writing for someone. This means that your day job or your online business will not be the only source of income you will have. Writing is also a good business.

To make a resource box, here are some of the important items that you should include.

1. Your full name: It is very surprising that many people who writes an article and post them in article publishing websites forgets to put their name on it. Your name should be the first thing you should put in a resource box.

2. You should also include your website URL. People who would want to see more of your articles would really want to visit your website. People who are looking for writers would often visit the writers website to take a look of your other articles.

3. Including your elevator pitch will get people more interested in you. Put 1 to 3 sentences that say about what makes your offer different from others.

4. Now that you have their attention, you now have to make a reason for them to visit your website or buy from you. Since your submitted article contains only some few information about your product it is best that you should invite people into your website. Remember to give only one specific reason to visit your website.

These are the most important content of a good resource box. However, there are other optional items that would be beneficial to include.

5. You should include the article publishing website URL in your resource box. Include all articles publishing website that you have submitted your articles. This is because people can read more of your articles from other article publishing websites.

6. Include your contact information such as, your phone number, email and address. It creates a sense of professionalism. People who are hiring writers will be able to contact you and speak to you personally. By doing this, people may even invite you to speak on seminars and workshops. Paid or not, do not reject them, this can be good for your reputation and many other opportunities will come.

7. Include a sentence that you will give free reports and of course you should provide them the free report. This will further enhance your credibility. Some people will think that you hired someone to do the articles for you. By creating a free report they can be surer that you wrote the article yourself.

Now you are ready to post your articles in article publishing websites. You now have the idea to market your articles. However, do not overdo your resource box. Here are some things that you should not include in your resource box. These are some of the most common mistakes people make in a resource box:

7. If you have several websites, do not include every single one of them in your resource box. This will ruin your credibility. Post only your website that is related to the topic. If you post a link of each of your website that has nothing to do with the topic, it will make people think that you are a scammer.

8. Do not post all of your achievements, people do not care. Remember to keep a resource box simple and to the point. A resource box is for your information not for your ego.

9. Make your resource box small. It should not be larger than one-fifth of your article size.

By making a resource box, it will give you a sense of professionalism and also could make people think that you are an expert on the topic. Be sure to follow these guides and you can have many business opportunities in the future. Again, do not forget to include your name.

Got Content? Partner Up With a Profitable Affiliate

by Urbain Beck

If you are like most site owners trying to make a buck online, you are working yourself to the bone on content. You might be rewriting PLR articles, hunting and pecking through free articles from the directories, or writing articles from scratch. You might even be hiring ghostwriters.

All of this takes time, and time is money. If hiring writers, you already know how much money you're spending. If you're doing your own work, you should keep track of your time, determine an hourly rate that it's worth, and figure out how much you are theoretically spending on your sites. Your site needs to be making cash to reimburse your time, effort and expenses.

We all know that the ultimate way to make money online is to sell our own informational products. Making our own product may seem daunting and hard to market at first. Most of us are well aware of the income potential of Google's Adsense program and the other contextual advertising programs. However, we can't realistically rely strictly on contextual advertising to make money online because we're not in control.

Affiliate programs are a nice balance between marketing our own products and contextual ads. While we do not have control over the affiliate program, affiliate products can offer value to your site and its visitors.

To make money with articles that you publish online, you will need to be choosey about your affiliates and consider a couple of factors.

Factor 1 - Is the Product Relevant?

The most important factor in choosing the affiliates to promote on your site is to pick those whose products will be helpful and interesting to your site's visitors. The affiliate product should somehow relate to the article on which it appears. You might want to add a brief review of the affiliate product somewhere in your article or on a separate page that the article links to. If you have your visitor's interest and trust, you stand a good chance of making an affiliate sale from that visitor.

Some affiliates, particularly large retailers, will offer specific product links that you can include in text advertisements. I have personally found these to be the most effective affiliate programs. Just sticking a banner that announces the company does not seem to work well for me.

Factor 2 - The Payout

When you pick an affiliate, you'll want a program that is likely to result in a profit based on the likelihood and frequency that the product will sell. Some affiliate programs offer a great deal of money per sale, but before you start calculating all the earning you'll be getting from that program, keep in mind that some products are bound to sell more than others. If you sell on product four times a year from a little known company that gives you $400 per sale or sell a well known product 15 times a week at the rate of $2.50 per sale, then you will make more money with the $2.50 per sale product and probably won't need to work as hard to get the sale.

Often times large well known companies will offer a very small profit per sale because they are established and know that their product is likely to sell well. Small, unknown companies, on the other hand, need all of the promotion they can get. Also, because they are unknown, their products are likely to sell less frequently.

Finding Your Affiliate Programs

There are two primary methods of finding affiliate programs. You can sign up with a company that manages the accounts of hundreds of companies, large and small, and apply for the affiliate programs that are managed by the large companies or you can do a web search for companies that would match well with your niche, visit their websites, and see if they advertise an affiliate program. Programs available through the large affiliate managers generally have to be funded, so your chances of getting paid for your sales on a timely basis may be better.

The Easiest Way to Create Articles? Use Public Domain!

by Tom Ambrozewicz

There are many webmasters that find writing articles for their site to be a very tedious task. Many people who need to write articles also procrastinate as much as they can to delay the amount of writing they need to do. Many people dread writing articles because they find researching for the topic and writing down original materials will be too taxing on them.

You need to have your creative juices flowing and simply downloading an article would be plagiarism or tantamount to stealing, not exactly. Have you ever heard about public domain? These are articles written down by many authors that have declared their works to be public domain, which means anybody can use it for whatever purpose they want.

While most authors would prefer to copyright their work for their rights, there are also a number who does not mind sharing their work. Public domain articles are not owned by anybody and can be used and abused by anyone. The writers have waived their rights to their works and it is out there for the public to make use of.

You can use public domain articles in helping you write your articles. With the public domain articles you can simply edit them to your own style and rewrite them as you please to make it suitable for your needs. All the ideas are there already and its just a matter of finding the write article with the topic or subject you need.

This is probably the easiest way to write articles. You do not need to scour around the library or the internet for hours for information and start an article from scratch. For webmasters who are looking for articles to fill their site and to generate a high ranking for their website in search engine results, they can just modify the article by infusing keywords and keyword phrases related to their site.

A webmaster or website operator do not risk any chance of getting sued for copyright infringement because they are public domain, once again meaning that anybody can use it. Writing articles by using public domain wont require as much work as writing one from scratch would. You save a lot of time also.

One good factor in using public domain articles for your site or for any project is that you save a lot of money. You dismiss the need to hire experienced and seasoned writers that some website operators use to write their articles. While a single five hundred worded article would only set you down 10 to 15 dollars, this cost will drastically increase when you need hundreds of articles to fill the needs of your site.

For those who needs articles to generate newsletters or ane-zine, public domain articles will be very beneficial. You do not need to count on your contributors or pay writers to write down articles for your newsletter or e-zine. You can fill all the pages without any cost or the worry of being sued and sought after by the writers. You can simply copy the articles and place them on your newsletter and e-zine.

Public domain articles are a virtual untapped resource that many people fail to realize the true value. The power of articles, keywords and keyword phrases have been deemed invaluable these past few years for many internet based businesses and sites that want to rank high in search engine results.

The number of article and content writers have grown significantly due to the rise in the demand for articles. As newer and newer topics and subjects have arisen, there are many demands for new articles to be written. An industry has been formed and this is a worldwide demand.

Public domain articles have given a great alternative for those who are cash strapped as well as do not have the time nor the skills to do their articles for themselves.

Searching for public domain articles is as easy as 1 2 3. You can search for them in search engines and do searches in many directories for the topic or subject that you need. Read them and simpy copy paste them to a word processing program and simply edit them to suit your needs.

Why Article Marketing is the Currently Biggest Rage In Internet, Affiliate and Adsense Marketing

by Rod Davis

Article marketing has become the latest rage on the Internet even though well known marketers like Jim Edwards have been promoting the use of articles for years.

There are many great reasons to use articles to promote your web site, but here are just a few reasons they have recently become the so popular with Internet marketers, affiliate marketers and adsense web site builders.

Search Engines Love Fresh, Original, Keyword Rich Content. If you have read any information on search engine optimization, you know that the best content you can have is fresh, original content with keywords that reflect the subject of your site or web pages.

This makes Google's job a lot easier and helps you stand out among "spam sites" and junk web pages and sites. Google's main goal is "to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful." The more your site complies with this philosophy, the better your site will do on Google, and other search engines.

You can read more about it here: http://www.google.com/corporate/

You Need Quality Content to Trigger Relavent Adsense Ads. Another reason to create quality content is to make sure you are triggering the best targeted ads for your visitors and your audience. The more targeted your content, the more targeted your ads will be. The more targeted your ads are, the more click thrus you will get from your adsense ads.

Create Quality Backlinks from Other Related Sites
Another reasons to promote quality articles is to create a way to get quality backlinks to your web sites. Getting backlinks is one of the most difficult ways to improve rankings for your web site, but it can also be the most rewarding.

Backlinks will do several things. First, it will give you targeted traffic coming from other web sites. If a web site uses your article, chances are that their audience is related to the web site you are promoting.

As a result, you can get click thrus from the web sites that promote your articles, provided that you create a good resource box with your web site link included in the article.

Helps Prevent Your Site from being knocked out of Search Engines. The last, and most important reason you will want to create articles for your site is to help keep you from getting kicked off of Google and other search engines.

If you create "spam" types of sites, they may make you a good profit in the beginning, but Google and other search engines seem to find ways to weed out these types of sites. Any profitable site build on these principles will always be at risk of losing rank when Google makes changes to their search engine algorithms.

Google has already started to find ways to label and "kick out" sites that are designed to rank high in search engines but don't provide a good experience for their web site visitors. As mentioned before, the more you comply with the Google.com philosophy, the better off your web sites will be in the long run.

Search engines have long been the most reliable way to get targeted traffic for your web site and has become even more popular since the creation of adsense and other pay per click search engines.

This has opened up new doors to web marketing and has allowed internet marketers, affiliate marketers, webmasters and content providers to make big bucks, many reporting five figure monthly incomes from Adsense and other partners.

If you are involved in this industry and you want to succeed from building search engine friendly web sites, you need to make article marketing a part of your site building agenda. This will help ensure you have more long term success and will help ensure you don't waste time building your web sites and web pages that will become obsolete.

All About Articles - How To Write A Winning Article!

by Joe Rispoli

Interesting, informative, professionally written articles with the appropriate content can provide you with targeted traffic and high quality permanent links to your web site.

Most importantly, you can not expect people to want to read, link to and circulate an article that is poorly written, full of mistakes, lacking content and does not provide any new or useful information.

The main reason for you to write an article is to inform your audience. If it is not focused on this purpose then you will fail to achieve the benefits of branding, generating leads and promoting your web site.

Quick tips for writing an article:

1. Do not write a classified ad, try not to sell anything in your article

2. Do not include affiliate links, publishers do not like them because they do not add any useful content to the article.

3. Avoid spelling mistakes, does not show professionalism.

4. Keep your paragraphs short, readers will ignore long batches of words in long paragraphs. Use bullet points and numbered lists.

5. Three sentence formula, use a verb as a command, followed by the cost of not doing it and then end with a positive comment.

6. Make your heading compelling, people will delete it or move on to something new. The following "grabber" words will help get responses: Discover, Guarantee, Health, Love, Money, New, Proven, Results, Safety, Save, You, and Success. The word Free has been over used.

7. Get to the point quickly, in the title and the first line. Keep your introduction down to a sentence or two, the same for a conclusion.

8. Make your copy clear, tell your readers what you want them to do.

9. Target your information, not everyone will want your information, so focus your information, and write more compelling copy.

10. Place keywords in strategic places throughout your article, but do not overdo it. The keywords should be related to your site. Try to identify your keywords before you begin writing your article. It is very important that your articles contain your targeted keywords and that they read well!

11. Keep your articles short, 500 to 1000 words. You do not want to write long articles because people are limited for time. You can write an effective article with the main points in less than 1000 words.

12. Do not forget to include a link to your site in the resource box. If people like your article, they will probably click on the link so they can visit your site.

You must figure out how to get people to read your article! Then get them to click on your resource box.

A resource box is usually found at the end of an article. So what should you put in your resource box?
It should contain the name of the author, a brief description of the author, a brief description of your web site and a link. The resource box is your readers link to the source of the article and if they liked your article it will entice them to go to your site. Good content for your resource box must contain keywords that relate to your site.

Make people click your resource box by providing creative and interesting content that touches your readers curiosity.

You can submit articles to websites, ezines, and article directories. An easy way to get your article published is to go to Yahoo or Google groups and do a search for "Internet Articles Publishing". Get involved with some of the groups, this will allow you to find websites that are looking for articles.

Articles can be the most time consuming of marketing tasks when you take into consideration the time it takes to write and submit the article.

A good idea is to make sure you add the locations of the article submission sites to a folder in your "Favorites". This will save time when you go to submit new articles.

Keep these tips in mind, so that your article will bring people to you, your service, your Web site, and your programs.
